From there drifted a pleasant, delicous aroma
But the beautiful, rushed cashier
Put the maiden in a pinch
She must choose one or the other!

**Some references and notes:**
[1] 'Hydrogenium fumus omnes' translates to 'hydrogen, smoke, everything'. The chorus is a wordplay on the fact that *Vety (hydrogen)* meatpies feature *smoked* ham with *all* of the spices.
[2] The husband is named Ahti, the god of the waters in the Finnish epic Kalevala.
[3] There are two popular meatpies that are local to Lappeenranta, Vety (hydrogen) and Atomi (atom).
Never been to Lappeenranta or taken a bite out of either one but I hope this helped get the idea of the song through 😁

It's a song celebrating the 60 year anniversary of the vety (hydrogen) meatpie from Lappeenranta. It features some lyrics of appreciation towards the town's marketplace and the pie itself. There's also an atomi (atom) meatpie that differs in ingredients that gets featured. There's a TL in the comments.
