Absolutely agree… Strymon is thee BEST reverb bar none! I’ve tried them all and returned them all. Nothing can replace my Strymon BigSky until NOW! The time has come… I’ve been waiting this day…the new Strymon BigSky MX Reverb has arrived 😆
There is just something special about Strymon delay and reverb pedals. I have a TimeLine and a NightSky and have been blown away by the depth and warmth of the tone. The soundscapes are absolutely immense and immersive.

Hmm, don’t know which comes first. The emotional chords progressions which make the strymon jump out. Or is it the strymon that inspires you to play this emotional stuff? If so, I urgently need one.

I think it’s a great pedal. I have the big sky and I won’t be “upgrading” I think that there is so much inside to deep dive into I couldn’t ever experience 70% of the bigsky let alone adding more for £700… in a studio I can see the application but a real world guitarist gigging I don’t think it’s viable because you will pick 2 reverbs and probably just use those for the whole gig or 3 if you have the original, no one’s waiting for you to change presets and banks etc. cracking studio tool but the original still has more than anyone would use in a gig. Epic playing as always 🤙🏻🍺🤘🏻
Sorry Strymon, I love your gear but have watched the intro 3 times because of Bea. I’m pretty sure he would make a kazoo in a tin can full of rusty nails sound great!
I've already got a Big Sky, but I'm definitely going to grab the Big Sky MX at the first opportunity. The addition of the Cloudburst's Ensemble feature to the MX is worth the price of admission alone, and then there are all of the other awesome additions!
I had this playing whilst I was cooking dinner and my wife asked why I was playing guitar instead of serving up.... I felt very complimented!

As a non-guitarist who is a big fan of your music and playing, I prefer these videos with mostly vibing out and playing , although I understand why guitarists might like more of the technical stuff about the gear you demonstrate.

Inevitably, I’m sure. Could take a minute for folks to get their hands on the new version and list their old units for sale, but I would expect there to be a tipping point when reverb gets flooded with these things and prices come down quickly
Always amazing to see you making amazing content. Kinda hard to believe that I’ve been watching you since before the Chanel. If anyone could help me, I have a Fender Princeton (non-verb) and I’m looking for an affordableish spring reverb to go with it. Any thoughts?

Looks like Strymon finally mirrored the features in the Boss RV-500.
isn't it funny that so many people are complaining about the price of the Fender Tone Master Pro FX and this pedal is £699 and it's just a reverb, a very good one I would guess but still only a reverb! Great demo though nether the less but I know it's never going to make me sound like Rabea however good it is...sadly!

Anyway, pedal sounds great, but we kinda expect that from Strymon these days.
If we open the ability to have Impulse Response to more than just cabinets, I wonder if that’s what the dudes from Line 6 were talking about for the next modeler. Could you imagine a modeler to where you could create impulse responses of every aspect of your signal chain

I wish Hans Zimmer would recognize your capability to create soundscapes. I think amazing unheard things would emerge if you two would be locked in a studio for a few days.
Saw Hans Zimmer live in Munich last year, and i cannot get the thought out of my head having you on stage as well next time he does it.
There's nothing like a Strymon! The only thing that is that good is the reverbs in the Axe-Fx III and that would make sense because the guys who started Strymon and Fractal went to electronic engineering school together and were roommates..
Those are rad... BUT, good lord are they expensive.... 679$ US Is a lot of cheese for a reverb pedal.
