Dear friend, am a decendant of several DAR Patriots. Many of my ancestor/great grandparents lived in upstate NY after the Rev War. I have found some of my husband's family who became Mormon and headed out to Utah. To my surprise, I connected with a Harvey cousin in Washington State who prayed my great grandfather into baptism. I am a non Mormon Christian who has felt compelled by my ancestors to reserach and document their stories. Strange. I'm a Christian but not a Mormon, yet I have been compelled over the last 10years to document my ancestors and know who they are when i meet them in Glory. Both my children were born in upstate NY and my husband and I attended the Hill Gomormah Pagent. My genealogy shows that both our family tree is spread throughout upstate NY where the LDS started.
