So many people say "Nickelback sucks!" but I don't see how... I grew up on their music and Chad's voice is unique and iconic... you hear him sing and you instantly know it's nickelback. They right their own lyrics unlike most pop artists... every song of theirs I easily enjoy... I love these guys.

As much as I would love to agree, the haters, true haters and not those fucking band wagon fucks, is because they have done some rather... Questionable things or some of their songs do have a rather dark message.
Not to take away from them though because I've been listening to these guys since they came out and find even the more questionable songs to be catchy and awesome to just kick back and listen to.

Stone sour was never popular enough to garnish this much of a hate roller coaster and is actually do in part to their fratboy antics, misogynistic lyrics, and many other problematic moments the lead singer has caused. Having beef with SS would only go so far and not to this world renowned hate. I like their music, hate the people, but most can't do both and just end up hating the music to just cause... I mean, it's hard to fight for a guy that paid a fan to lop his dick off in a rotating fan.

Heard this back in 2017 and was unimpressed. Three months ago a friend made me hear "Home" from the same album and I loved it. Decided to hear NB again after a while and re discovered a bunch of songs including this one. It's funny how certain songs are for certain stages of your life. I now love this one. Wish they come back soon with a new album.

Loved your concert in Vancouver 2023 with my kid!! When my kid was a baby lullabies didn't get them to sleep, one night I put them in their car seat and drove around. Rockstar came on the radio and they fell asleep. You guys have been our number one band since. Judging by the sold out venue and how we all stood and sang along through the entire concert, you have more of us fans than haters out there. It was the most amazing sing along EVER! i don't think talent should be a problem here, he can sing yes. they have a great beat but what most people don't understand is most of their songs come from the heart, people want to feel a connection in which nickelback has a song for almost any heartbreaking situation to listen to
DClover oh I totally agree, the connection is there for me. And I can count on them to produce music I will LOVE. But I always get told "they have no talent, all their music sounds the same" or "they aren't as hard and rock as they used to be". So hence my previous comment lol.

Simply put: I LOVE Nickelback. One of the best bands ever. I showed their songs to my bff who said she hates rock, and she was amazed about their music. "Can rock be this good?" She asked that many times. And I just laughed at her "Yes, this is rock. Believe it or not!" She liked their music so much we listened to it for more than a hour (I didn't had access to Internet, so it was all that I have currently). Their lyrics is out of ordinary as well as Chad's voice. One you get to know even just 1 song from them, you'll immediately recognise others, because of their uniqeness.
