People look up .C/U bell. High angle shot of floor. Man in robes reads out report about ship safely into port. Shot of floor. C/U Latine bell. High angle shot. Lloyd's caller (dressed in red robes) speaks into microphone. Man walks up to caller's desk. In the gallery, man walks up to staff member who enters name on Telewriter (very strange gadget with transmits handwriting). C/U telewriter working. Caller calls out names. Broker walks to telephone dial. Screen of indicator board shows where the broker can be found. Man walks from caller's desk. Underwriters at work. C/U handwriting of deal. C/U of bridge blueprint being folded.
01:19:55 Committee meeting in room. Adam's fireplace. C/U painting of ship above fireplace. C/U hand ticking of items on agenda paper. Members of committee voting by placing balls in box with yes or no sides to it. Chairman announces the result and declares the end to the formal business of the meeting. A cigarette box is passed around.
01:21:13 C/U list pinned onto notice board. Men crowd around to read list. Underwriters working at desks. People eating in the Lloyd's members restaurant. They are served with drinks by a waiter. C/U men drink.
01:22:16 Liner ship at sea. High angle shot of San Francisco harbour. View of Buenos Aires, Argentina. View of Sydney Harbour and Bridge. Two young women look out over Rotterdam harbour. Ships in docks.
01:23:05 Sign on office door reads "Lloyd's Agency". Door opens and man walks in. Man gives dictation to secretary at typewriter. Man knock on door and goes into office. At a desk are seated a man and his secretary. The secretary is taking notes. Through the office window we can see ships moving about. The man gets up to leave his office.
01:23:43 C/U sign of 'Lloyd's Agency". Man walks out of building and meets client. They walk to docks. They check a damaged cargo with a ship's officer. A crate is seen to be damaged. The Lloyd's Agent picks up the tea from within the crate. He sniffs and pulls a face. The tea is off.

01:24:17 Woman walks through door of Lloyd's Intelligence Department. Women at work at teleprinters. C/U woman's face as she reads. C/U output of teleprinter with news from Rotterdam. Man speaks into telephone. Copies of the Lloyd's List newspaper are placed on his desk. Men working at desk looking at List. Men at desk looking at Lloyd's Shipping Index.

Back of head of man in naval type hat looking up at distress flare in sky. Lifeboat being launched from RNLI (Royal Naval Lifeboat Institution) building. The lifeboat hits the water with a splash. Woman at teleprinter reads S.O.S. signal. Staff member up Lloyd's pins notice to the board. Man reads notice. C/U notice "Henrietta Rose ... S.O.S. sinking".
01:26:16 Man on non-marine floor of Lloyd's of London waves across gallery to signal someone. C/U Bridge blueprints on desk, the slip showing its insurance is placed on top of it. Underwriters talk. C/U man signing and stamping insurance form. Lloyd's policy office. Man checking various pieces of paper.
01:27:20 Printing room with lots of machines working. C/U policy for Kootaboolah Bridge project. Document receives Lloyd's seal on a machine that makes impressions on the paper. C/U seal. Men walk across site of bridge building. One wears a yellow hard hat.
01:27:47 C/U Lloyd's policy for "Ladybird" Auxiliary Yacht. This receives the stamped seal. Yachtsman on yacht moves the tiller (or rudder) The red ensign flag wafts behind him. He is wearing bright yellow waterproof clothing. He calls to his wife and son who are hoisting the mainsail. The ship goes out to sea. More shipboard shots. Shot of liner. Shot of jet taking off. High angle shot of Lloyd's marine floor.
