I would replace the 2 screws with an allen head or torx type to make it even more secure. Also, are they secured with any Loctite or just tightened down to X torque Lbs. ? I also heard another Ytber has a thicker gauge plate that fully surrounds the pull strap area, instead of just a top plate. Thoughts ? Overkill?
Great idea on using special bolts. Honestly with these cars there is no such thing as overkill. They are stolen daily! The more layers of security the better.
I would add lock tight and some jb weld in top of the screws

Where did you purchase the F Off sticker? ......Lol
I had a friend make it. 😂😂
You don't think that the thieves have the same tools that you have?
Nothing is perfect but maybe they left their special block plate tool at home that day and will move on to another easier target. 🤷🏻♂️
@@moparlifescatpack I highly doubt that they leave their tools behind since this is their "job".
You’re probably right. You seem pretty knowledgeable. I should probably sell it and get an EV.
Where can I get this block plate
Get it at destroyer1320.com
@@moparlifescatpack thank you I found it I am also getting an IGLA installed soon
Wait what is that? Can you still drive it
Of course. This only blocks the ability to easily put the car in neutral when it is dead or trying to be stolen.
That would just delay them for few minutes .. But still a nice idea to buy more time in case you were around the car 😁
Exactly! Unfortunately nothing is 100% but the hope is they hit a roadblock and feel its not worth it to stick around and move on to an easier target.
Put loctite on the screws
