Description of Ford Mustang taken from Wikipedia "The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by the Ford Motor Company from April 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobiles known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of imitators. It was initially introduced as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale the following year. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment."

That second one though😂 And tell mom I’ll be home in a little while son🔥✨. Nice twist
I remember seeing every one of those commercials in 1972! I was driving a 1969 Roadrunner and 1961 Ford Ecnoline pickup with the snub nose.
I am still driving my Dads 1968 F100. Great truck.
Those are some beautiful F100s brother.
Remember when trucks weren't cars?
My dad had a '72 Ford F250 Explorer pickup. It didn't ride like a car, especially not like an LTD.
We had the '71 Ford F250 Custom Pickup. He had to do some modifications on it to make it handle our camper. By the time he was done, it was better than Ford's own Camper Special package. They boasted that the camper special could handle slide-in campers as big as 11 feet. Ours was 12 1/2 feet.
I remember so many of these from "Hockey Night in Canada. Brought to you by Ford."
I aways thought the early 70s Fords were the best looking pickups ever.
1972 was the last year for those fifth generation Ford F-series pickups & same with the medium duty models with that same cab design.
5th Gen body style was revolutionary, IMO. The addition of trim levels, suspension parts interchangeable, and overall increased dimensions compared to 4th gen. My 12th gen just turned 13. Lol
Those were some fun ads!! 😊
I still drive a 1969, and a 1970 camper special...nice.
But, I like the 1950 F4!
I bought a new 72 F -150. It was a beautiful truck 302 ci auto air red & white . I had it around 2 months and the trans with out got it back and it went through 3 quart's of oil between changes. Out of the 75 trucks on the lot I got the lemon of ford trucks.
Them we're great pickups
Had a'72 F-100 Explorer in high school, grabber blue, 302, 3 on the tree, posi rear end, perfect rust free truck...was too young and dumb to realize exactly what I had then...been trying to locate it ever since......
Great, fun commercials.
I hundred 1972 Ford pickup truck years ago in fact it was the very first pickup truck I ever bought. I was probably 18 or 19 years old.
when trucks were way more affordable
Did anyone else notice some of the voice-overs were done by Dick Tufeld? (robot voice on Lost in Space)
They subtly advertised hauling moonshine. I miss the days when everyone wasn't so damn sensitive and enjoyed a obscure joke.
Font choice - looks like 1912. Going for F, not Model T, yeah?
Why were those cops wearing helmets when they were in a squad car brah?
Courier from Japan
Built by Mazda.
back when they made real trucks
I just went to my Ford dealer to look at all the bare pavement.
I said 2:30 dikhed :P
Those are test driver demonstrations. Please don't try this at home.
Who is that actor, can’t place him
Well...they WERE BETTER than "rust bucket" Chevys!
Now those are what you call pick up trucks. You’re not try to be cool in it. You just use it fast forward to now and it’s a bunch of guys trying to be macho.
