Got a message from my godson telling me he was going to Transmt in Glasgow. I'm 68, he's 28 so I asked if there were any bands playing that I might know.
First on the list was Pulp, ok for and old git like me. Then he told me that the Kooks were playing as well. I was surprised that he was into them, so I sent him a message saying cool, they play in their on way. It went down well. Forty years apart and we still have music in common. Love that.
When you get old you get stuck in your ways, especially musically. But this track made me realise that maybe new sounds were ok. It was recorded a while back and I liked it then and I still do now.
