  • A stitch in time saves nine, and an install done right initially will stave off headaches down the line. Case in point - PTE's turbo drain flange, a solution to using inferior drain flanges. No more silicone, no more paper gaskets; PTE's product uses an O-ring and is machined from billet, preventing leaks and failures. Direct link: shop.precision...

Get a drain flange from Boostlabs. Run them on both my Garrett and PTE.......you're welcome.....thank me and the guy below later.

Are these pretty much the same as the boostlab ones?

Over time those o rings get hard brittle and flatten out which makes them start to leak.
Ask me how I know lol.

That's why we who boost for performance change them often. They aren't meant to be a forever part. They should be on your maintenance schedule 📅

Yep. Ended up using 22mm ID x 3mm thick viton orings. The orings precision supply are too small...... mine lasted 400 miles before they began to leak oil

nice product, but the ID of most -10 hose fittings is still crap

This doesn't really solve for poor quality on PTE Chinese turbos though... Save yourself the headache and buy a garrett :)

Ebay has good flanges too with orings.. all this stuff is from China. These guys dont have their own cnc just to mill flanges.

Great, now how about addressing the oil going into the Turbo! Precision is still using 50 year old technology of a oil restrictor that is total guess work that can possibly cause premature bearing wear and or cooked bearings, Turbo smoking and worst case premature Turbo failure. Well not to worry my fellow boost junkies because BoostSmart has taken this problem that Precision Turbo doesn't seem to give a damn about and gone pro. BoostSmart has designed and marketed the coolest oil pressure regulator (OPR) and solved every issue Precision hasn't. So check this product out. It's a huge advantage over just a drilled oil restrictor. Benefits are no more Choo Choo train smoke on deceleration, eliminates oil baking in your cartridge, less bearing wear and will extend the life of your extremely over priced Precision ball bearing Turbocharger. Do check them out. You can thank me later.....I'm ok with that👍
