a very unorganised and rambly monthly update because two weeks of exams and revision have fried my brain a little, but it was very lovely to sit down and catch you up on all the journaling bits I managed this month, felt a little like a Sunday catch up with a friend over coffee☕️

Always love hearing you talk through your notebooks. Thank you for this video! Your Hon is looking beautiful. For the weeks, I would suggest giving it time, if you aren’t reaching for it then that’s ok, it will be there when you need it. ❤

I also think that is probably the way to go, I’ll use it loosely for a while, just writing lists when I need, and figure something out once the chaos is over and I can enjoy that again!🥰
I use the N2 Sterling Ink Weeks size which I’ve been loving! This year was interesting as I finished my undergrad and have now transitioned into my first post grad job, so it has adapted as such. I had a long to do list (Alastair method, similar to yours) when I was in school with time specific events on the left. Now, I mark my work shifts on the left as well as add in notes of what happened throughout the day, little feelings and thoughts etc which helps when I’m updating my long form journal! I write down random notes, planning, thoughts etc on the right along with a “what I spent this week” tracker to keep my accountable with my savings goals with a cross country move on the horizons. Maybe you can write out your “why” for having the weeks, and that will regroups you to you use it in the first place :). I hope this helps! Thank you for sharing your wonderful spreads! ❤️
You can just resize pictures in a word/pages document for the sizes you like!
Hi there~ ah I have so many thoughts! This was such a pleasant video, and relatable as well. The change from one Avec to the next is deeeefinitely not an easy on during exams, so I think the Hon is doing you a favor! It is looking beautiful, might I add. I totally get you with the postponing of life during exams....and complaining to your journal about it 😄 But you are really doing so well! Life shall presume soon. The new paper dries quicker? I got a weeks this year and it's the only tomoe river paper product I've ever used. The dry time is driving me crazy and I smudge ink constantly. I feel crazy because i seem like the only fountain pen user who doesn't love it haha
Blotting paper saved my life with dry time, I just cut a sheet to size and slip it between a page I've just written on before I turn the page/close my notebook. It also doubles as a handy position keeper
The weeks still has the old trp! The Hon has the new one and every pen I’ve used on it has dried quicker compared to the old one, but I know some people have had some issues too😬
