Miracles Really Do Happen...Grayson and Hannah's Journey Through Foster Care to Adoption

- The journey began in June of 2016, when Katie, a single Colorado foster mom, received a call about a baby boy needing home that had been left at the hospital just hours after birth without any information leading them to who he really was. At 4 months old his unknown parents rights were terminated and then on the day he turned 11 months, Katie adopted him and gave him the name Grayson.
Less than two weeks later, Katie got another call about a baby girl who needed a temporary emergency placement that night... despite all the reason not too as Katie felt her plate was full with Grayson and his special needs, she said Yes. She felt God was telling her she was supposed to say yes.
What is revealed is the following weeks, is nothing short of a miracle and Katie has no doubt why God called her to say yes despite her fears... Hannah was Grayson's biological sister. God had orchestrated a miracle to bring these to siblings together unknowingly to anyone at the time.
And just days later, Katie met the mother of her son whom she had lost all hope of ever knowing.
In this video, Katie reveals all the details of this miracle and God's beautifully orchestrated plans which were far better than she ever imagined.

What a wonderful young woman. These children are very lucky to have her as "Mom" in their corner.
We’ve adopted 2 children from overseas (India and Russia) and one from foster care, all drug exposed. I’m convinced that every adoption story is a miracle in itself! It takes so many things falling into place, so much faith, trust, and hope in the things you cannot see or predict. Each of our children have their own ‘miracle story’, which I’m so thankful for, because the rejection they suffered at birth is one no child should experience.
Good for you! My brother is over 65 and his birth mother never responded to his very lovely note. He was able to find out who his DECEASED father was via a DNA TEST. My brother has no fear. His father was a fighter pilot.. now we know where the lack of fear and high energy. Bless you.

I am so confused. There is a lot of vague talk. Who are the Whitneys? Who are those two older girls? And what is the story with the biological mom? so to be clear nothing is clear. I have no idea how many kids are in the mix here and who has all of them.

Hope their biological mother stops having children though. She’s not the one talking care of them and most people can’t afford to take care of ten siblings for example. Otherwise I’m very happy for you and for your family that God has given you. I’m very happy the siblings are together.
How do you manage caring for foster babies and working. Are you allowed in US to use day care services as a foster carer ?

I think there are reasons but I never understood before. Termination is not legal everywhere,not in Australia and unsure if every state in the US is the same.
3 years ago I had a car accident and know I could never look after a baby. My children are grown up but if I was young I couldn’t be a parent.

Wow first time watching your channel. This same thing happened to a former coworker. She had her son at a couple months old and a little over a year later got a call for a newborn girl. She was the one that figured out they were siblings too.

Yes I did! And we fostered a fourth as well :) But she will be adopted by a family that has two other of the siblings!
