Absolutely love this version of this song. I remember back in 2015 I went to a summer camp in China. There was this guy and I found him cute. We didn’t talk or had any interaction until the last day! On the last night it was raining and everyone from my group ran back to the dorms. So somehow I ended up with him under one umbrella to walk back to the dorms. He was extremely sweet and I loved the short conversations we had! And yes I had the biggest crush on him after that!! Unfortunately he had to fly back to his own country the next day, and the only thing I knew was his name. I remember I listened to this song during that time. So, every time I hear this song it reminds me back to those summer days hehehe.

I've been hooked onto this song for the past few weeks.
This song is about pining away for a romance that may never even happen, but all you have is this hope that it could, and the fear that it never will.
Because it just was this positive, wistful feeling of: I hope you understand just how much I loved meeting you. I hope that you know that meeting you was not something that I took lightly, or just in passing. And I think my favorite part of that song is the part where, in the bridge, it goes to sort of a stream of consciousness of 'Please don't be in love with someone else/Please don't have somebody waiting on you.' Because at this moment, that's exactly what my thoughts were.

1 yr already. And i'm always stunned to realize how enchanting it was to meet you. Everything was magical. From simply looking at you from a distance to finally holding you close with me. I am always grateful for the moment we've shared together. I never loved this way and I am not sure if I can still love this way toward other man. Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran's songs was one of the best. Each song they wrote had a deep meaning and dedicated to the one they loved. Ed Sheeran's "Hearts Don't Break Around Here" and "Best Part of Me" would be a nice wedding song too. ❤️❤️❤️
