How the gps detection? Is it fast and accurate? In Malaysia, the price almost the same with amazfit trex. Mostly im just doing hiking, badminton and jogging.
The GPS is actually pretty good in this one. I like it.

Amazfit Stratos has true always-on display that gets easier to read in bright sunlight, I can use Open Water Swimming mode to track my kayaking strokes while using GPS, and it is an MP3 player so I can use it to listen to music in the gym. The Zeblaze Stratos 2 can do none of these things.
i dont know if it just me so unlucky to have this watch or its really have issue with charging, i’m not sure. during 6 months warranty, i have change the watch itself for 3 times, the charger 4 times. but now it still have issue with the charging. using 5V 0.5A, 1A, 2A, all the same.

They are pretty much the same feature set and probably the same watch, so whichever exterior case you like better.

I am waiting to get mine. Bought it on presale as suppose you did. But it said that there would be a gift. A screen protector and a charger. I saw you have the screen protector but no charger! Instead you got a charging cable!
I hope you like it more than I do. I am disappointed in the features. And the way the "always on" feature works is wonky.
@@DaveTheKayaker I will test it when mine comes. From the first Zeblaze Stratos i am very satisfied! If the GPS was a bit stronger and exercise fields had more data it would be perfect! It even has some kind of Holter heart test with diagnosis for potential heart problems! No watch has that feature! Aldo battery lasted a long time too! Only gps battery was innacurate. Not 40 hours as advertised but arround 16-18...

hi Dave, i just received mine in Malaysia, after trying, found out only one watch face could be added, disappointed.
I found the whole watch to be rather basic and think they should have given it a different name. To imply it is the next generation of their Stratos is misleading. Usually features are added, not taken away.

Which features did the original Stratos have that Stratos 2 lacks?
It went from ~120 exercises to ~24. The big one missing for me is kayaking with GPS turned on. It doesn't exist in the Zeblaze Stratos 2.
