Gonna be real honest… after the whole “Party like it’s your Birthday” situation, the removal of Jenny from the rerelease of the of album, and now the new sound I’m super nervous for the future of the band. Feels very bland and shallow for a group with so much talent. I remember when the first album blew UP on tumblr back in the day and when Jenny went viral on tiktok I was super stoked cause I thought it would bring the band to newer and more exciting places but that has yet to be seen. Wish y’all the best of luck as a fan from the very beginning but I think I’m gonna sit this one out 😔✌️

Seeing these updates are getting both exciting and terrifying while I try to scramble to put out an okay-ish animated dance video between working 56 hour weeks for the holidays ^-^;

I'm so excited this was really cool, can't wait for the song!! I guess this was like a Soft Bitch soft release right? Hahaha. I loved everyone's answers to the "where would you go in time" question, all unique and came at the question in different ways, and the one about being the nurse was really deep and memorable, I think that is quite a sweet idea.
Also I liked that we got an explanation for why Cherry will have a different singing voice for this song. It makes sense and it's cool you guys are down with this sorta idea thats like "multiple people can be Cherry" its like a creative freedom. I also do love Cherry's usual singing voice so I hope they'll be back in other future songs as well. But yeah I'm quite excited about this one and the snippet sounded really good!
@@elcanaldekuro4450 im sure the other Cherry will be back for more songs too. They explained it was because they needed a singer in a different range for this song, which I think makes a lot of sense.
@@elcanaldekuro4450 I mean if the original cherry singing voice doesn't come back for other songs then yeah I'd be upset too. But I think for a song or two having a new voice is fine ? I think its an interesting creative choice, particularly given that its all supposed to be the same character.
@@elcanaldekuro4450 They already stated the reason why they felt a different singer would fit this particular song better. Its their art and if that's what they feel would make it the best it can be, then that's their call as the ones who bring it all to life in the first place. We are simply along for the journey.
So ignore that and think they're lying okay then lol goodbye ?
I can like a band without having to like every single song. If you don't like the song then just wait til they release another one. Or enjoy re-playing their older ones.
@@elcanaldekuro4450 You're assuming things. They never said that the original Cherry quit. If you were a loyal fan you wouldn't just leave because you don't agree with their creative decisions like that. Mind you we only have a snippet of what's going on. Yes, you're free to go, but it's their art and their music. Not everyone likes every song either, and you might hate this one but love the next that comes out. Give them a chance and some wiggle room to experiment how they want. They're able to do collabs now too, which by my memory, hadn't done that ever before besides this year. It shows how much they've grown. They're doing their best and being open about it. And they could've not said or done anything all together honestly. We aren't owed anything, but they took their time out of the day to tell us what's been going on behind the scenes.
IMO, I agree that Cherry wouldn't really fit this song (as said in the podcast). Maybe parts of it will come out where I could see how they would, but, like I said before, we only heard a snippet.

Such a disappointment. I miss studio killers. This is so heartbreaking that you took the time to make a huge pilot, and not one song on the pilot, promoting studio killers, has cherry. What a waste.
