Remind me of my old 2001 E46, drinking coolant like petrol, nobody could find the cause of it, driveway and engine completely dry everyday. Even a specialist couldn’t find any leaks
...And that's where your issue is beemer brother,. Water evaporates and disappears out of your coolant system, perfectly good coolant does not. By the way keep engine on while adding cold water to hot engine. 😉 Water warps the cylinder heads on these beamers and loosens the head bolts. It creates too much steam pressure, ,might as well buy a Stanley Steamer , steam engine,. Even they Warped back in the day.

I think m57 engine has the least full consumption of them all
I made owning my 05 my hobby.
Bro I took my e46 to a town mechanic for the coolant leak. Cost 50€ for parts, including new coolant, and 20€ for work. Under 100€ permanently fixed my coolant leak issues.
You should avoid filling with cold water while the engine is off , you would break the head gasket
Remind me of my old 2001 E46, drinking coolant like petrol, nobody could find the cause of it, driveway and engine completely dry everyday. Even a specialist couldn’t find any leaks
My e46 will tell me top off coolant and it’ll need like 6oz 🤣
I never added any coolant to my BMW cuz i never lost any in 3 years and the check the tank every week
...And that's where your issue is beemer brother,.
My 325i leaks even with a new expansion tank and radiator.. 4th time dropping it back to the mechanic shop
Such a beautiful paint color. Love bmw
Thanks it’s a vinyl wrap (kpmf phantom sage )
It’s an ugly wrap. They are all ugly
Freakin relateable
Man i miss my titan silver e46 330ci
Come back to the dark side
Christmas tree dashboard gets me everytime
Comes with the e46
The expansion tank will always look empty if it’s not completely cooled down (as in letting it sit overnight) i checked mine after it sat for over an hour and it looked empty so i went to buy some an hour later. when i got back it was at the correct level
What i loved the most about my E46 was finally selling it and saving myself from a prolonged migraine from Over-Engineering and intentionally designed fail points. I love the look of the a
E46, but the quality is not what you would think a BMW should be before owning one. I love the look of the mew ones, they are perfect as far as looks, but I'll never buy another ever again.
