The house is also made of dirt, allowing for easy extensions like, for example, a small bunker. Alternatively, the mines offer great mob-safety
The previous owner even took the time make grass grow on the ceiling, which is a must most modern dirt houses forget to implement for a much classier grass house!

I believe a spider would be too big, however this house has some unpleasant skeletal neighbors who could potentially shoot through it.
