Great video, next purchase a wrapper for the 3 point linkage, and u'll be able to wrap ur own bales,
If U get a couple of cow rubber mats and put them on the ground where the bale is coming off the wrapper it will help and stop pin holes coming in the bale and U will have very better quality silage

Years ago when we done wrapping we used to bale a falf bale and put behind d lay off of d wrapper ! Slows d bsle rolling and d wrap!

I'm not a plumber or a farmer but that drinker fitting should have a brass lock nut on it to stop it turning
Make sure you get your stack covered in a net else the crows will ruin all the top layer, probably already too late if you haven't already

how come you haven't raked the grass swaths from the mower to make them wider apart?
You guys need to come to New Zealand to learn how to make a silage bale, bale density on 10, bales weighing 900+kg, more grass in a bale means less bales so less wrap costs
One thing is haven’t figured with your shed is where does the efluent go? Did you consider a efluent / slurry tank at the back of the shed and possibly a midden to scrape into when conditions are to wet to tip in feilds
Gate Lady is a handy girl with the tractor and trailer, a man with your skill could soon make a tail gate for the trailer

Wrong water fitting Crawford those are to fit the small triughs like you have on the wall in calving pens. The brass bit with the ear and hole locates in the side of the trough to stop it turning.
stand last 2 bales on edge this stops bales rolling off
Just get ordinary water troughs and a bucket to clean them much more reliable 👍
Who is the gate lady?
His partner and sometime voice-over on videos. We first saw her opening a gate for him, and the rest is history. She is an engineer.
Il take you a photo in the morning we have a few of them and never had that issue just some times they don’t get pinned back In position properly when they get rolled over 🤦♂️

That clip of the kid trying to jump the rolling bale were trespassing kids on my fields who decided to roll all the newly baled bales down the bank through the fences and gates and into the stream at the bottom 😤
