Hi everyone! In this tutorial, I'll show you how to elevate your Gel X nails using builder gel for a stunning, salon-quality finish right at home! This method not only enhances the look of your nails but also adds extra strength and durability. Follow along as I guide you through each step, ensuring you get professional-looking results every time.
📌Products Used:
Cuticle Softener
Pusher
Nipper
Nail File (180 grit)
PH Bond
Pro Bond (Nail Primer)
Gel X Tips
Gel X Glue
Flash Cure Lamp
Full Cure Lamp
Acetone
Gelish Builder Gel
DND Gel Polish Color
Alcohol
Lint Free Cotton Wipes
Clear Top Gel
Cuticle Oil
📌Key Steps:
1. Prep your natural nails and Gel X tips.
2. Apply PH Bond and Pro Bond.
3. Attach Gel X tips using Gel X glue.
4. Blend tips with acetone or a nail file.
5. Apply builder gel to create an apex and add strength.
6. Buff and smooth the surface.
7. Apply gel polish and top gel.
8. Finish with cuticle oil.
Disclaimer: I use a matte top coat to demonstrate how to buff and prepare the nail plate to remove the shiny layer. However, you don't need to add a matte top coat before this step as We are not supposed to use any gel before the application. I create videos and do nails almost every day for practice, so I can't buff my nails every time.
