Injecting slurry using an Challenger MT765C, VDB Slurry Swivel and a 12m wide Tsjalma Agrometer umbilical injector from contrator M. van Gastel of Wouws Plantage, The Netherlands. Three trucks supply the pig slurry to the pomp unit witch is driving by a New Holland T7.235.

That looks like some super expensive equipment. In my area the tank is pulled behind an ordinary tractor and the slurry is sprayed on the ground and disced in. It is simple and cost effective.
Nice video. You must have a really good drone.
This method is actually more cost effective for big operations in countries that don't have low wages, but the initial investment is a lot higher.
Oliver Mayo splash plates and wagging tails releases a lot more methane in to the air and also lots of nutrients are lost
Theo Price splashing it on the ground has a too high water contamination chance for the netherlands so its forbidden here

They are, contractor M. van Gastel is from the Netherlands, Wouwse Plantage (Noord-Brabant Province, is in the South of the country). Like the material and actual practice, great job!
It must be very sandy soil, no rocks? Can't imagine me doing it this way, rocks would wear the hose down very quickly

Dat vanwege diverse voordelen, waaronder geen zware machines en mesttank nodig op het land. Je kan dus zonder schade, veel eerder het land op, zeker met zo'n trekker met lange rupsen met veel draagkracht én relatief weinig gewicht (immers hoeft niet ook een zware tank te dragen & trekken over het land) En als dat transport tussen mestkelder / silo én het land niet nodig is, heb je ook geen vervuilde weg. Daarnaast heeft dit systeem een grote capaciteit per uur.

we have an air compressor that blows all the pipes out when we are on the final run. not sure what other outfits use.

that must be some tuff hose being pulled around all the time
Alkanin you can even drive over it with a tractor without a problem if it is under pressure. But the downside is, the hose is really expensive.
Seems like they're better off just having a purpose built tanker vehicles follow/lead the spreader than deal with all that hose that's going to fail after a couple spreads.
Just think of how many people had to eat at Taco Bell to fill that tanker full of Slurry Bell Grande.

Wouldn't it be a lot easier just to have a tanker just spray be hind it self and spray the feeld and then just reload and then continue with the job
*Not legal in some countries, spraying allows the slurry to run-off into water ways and generates odor problems, injecting it into the soil is the solution to these issues.*
It’s a compaction thing i believe, loaded tankers are INCREDIBLY heavy, so they can cause issues.

@@trevethan82319841 it would help, but the most effective way is to just not have it out there. Plus it allows a wider pass due to not having to drag as much weight with it. So if someone can deal with the logistical aspects of it, it’s a definite upgrade in most cases.

Till the soil kill the soil. Watch a few Gabe Brown Bismarck NDak videos and follow his production model. These are impressive machines but are they cheaper than cover crop seeds?
