I still stand by my theory that the scar was from some terrible accident that resulted in the death of his mother and Fizz’s limbs being amputated. Likely a circus act gone wrong
What if the act was Blitzo's idea? Hence his self-loathing.

I agree, and I think they're likely 3rd degree burns. I know from experience that 3rd degree burns leave a pretty noticeable scar, and so I think thats the most likely explanation.

I think it may be that Moxxie worked for Blitz first because you can only see him in the picture from his first day. I don't think he met Millie until he was at work. Maybe Moxxie had taken her on a mission and when Mox and Blitz saw how good she was at killing, Mox fell head over heels in love and Blitz offered him a job.
My head Canon was he knew Moxxie from school, and Moxxie recruited Millie for Imp.
That would explain why Blitzo feels responsible for their happiness. If they met at his job he'd feel like a matchmaker, and as he's an adorkable romantic, he loves that role.
@@The_Serpent_of_Eden I'm sure Millie is a renown killer and there must be some kind of emotional bond she has for the place. If Moxxie works there too. So she sees it as her family too. Moxxie is reluctant because he's a straight laced by the book guy. I like the idea as obnoxious as Blitz is he got them together and does in an odd way keep them together.
My personal headcanon is that Blitzø met Moxxie while they were both doing an entertainment gig, and both were kicked out for being “bad” Blitzø with his clowning, and Moxxie with his singing. Blitzø quickly though of himself as Moxxie’s friend and hired him for his start up of IMP. Blitzø quickly found Millie and Moxxie fell head over heals for her from their first mission together and her first kill.

My theory about aging among demons is that it isn't consistent throughout life. A demon starts their life aging at a human rate but once they reach maturity their body's aging process slows down, hence why Charlie can be 180 years old but still look like a 21 year old, while Lucifer and his wife look middle aged.
I mean, Blitzo’s white is definitely a scar, but:
I saw several imps having the same white spots on their bodies, but made to look like tattoos. Definitely an interesting use of your body’s abilities.

What I find interesting about the scar theory is Blitz has about half his body covered in them.
Its like burn marks from a fire or some sort of explosion. But a bit more stylized because cartoon

Barbie's scars look a lot more... deliberate than a lot of the imp scars we've seen. The various rings and Xs around her arms resemble patterns more than actual wounds. My guess is that they're some form of scarification. It's not as common as tattoos or piercings, but it is still a method of body modification. Millie's dad Joe also has a scar that resembles a flame pattern on his arm.
That could also tie into why Barbie is in rehab, since you can get addicted to body modification.
Probably, but another one cod be just character design, as Viv likes to make complicated character designs as seen in her old work and new ones

I think Barbie Wire didn't really try to remove the marking on her forehead. She just made it white to contrast Blitz's mark to help her act as an opposite, yet similar person, since they are twins. A sort of yin-yang setup. The tattoos probably are just aesthetic for her to be visually/sexually appealing to the audience, since they were part of the circus. They had to be the show and show she did. Just a thought.
I like that, but I don’t think they are the same. In the poser if you look closer the mark on her head looks different. It looks like an X of some sorts, and the same mark is on her arm I think.
Something I just thought of: in Blitz's crazy gas-induced hallucination; one of the first things that happens to him is he is absolutely covered in a red substance that he then sniffs to try to identify. Either he killed someone when he was a little clown in the circus with his family.....or he blames himself for the death. There's literally a shot where he's looking at "the blood on his hands". I wonder if that's tied to his scars and the severing of his family and friendship with Fizz.
I can't shake the feeling that Fizzarolli is responsible for Blitz' scar. Remember Loo Loo land, where the robofizz had half its face melted off in approx the same area that Blitz has his scar. Could be a foreshadowing to a future reveal of Blitz' past.
NO matter what, I'm looking forward to the next episode and to see if it'll shred some more light about this particular feature of Blitz' character.

Not because it's intimate, but that it's clearly performed on a stage, and I haven't lost the hunch that they're actually estranged brothers, which puts all their interactions in a completely new light.

The royal demons aging slower is an interesting thought. I find it a little odd how Octavia is supposedly 17, yet she's about half the size of her parents.
Maybe 17-21 isnt the Adult stage for Owl Demons?

A little theory I have about moxxie’s spots that fits into the “white spots are scars theory” is that maybe moxxie’s spots are not just any scars but maybe acne scars. I think that’s plausible because moxxie is an adult which is why he would have only a few scars left get if his acne problem was really that severe and it hasn’t been explicitly said that acne can’t happen in demons. Also we haven’t seen any official art of moxxie as a kid to disprove that these white spots didn’t appear in his teenage years. I really don’t know just a little thought I had while watching this video.
I also wonder if Tilla is actually their adopted mother. Tilla and Fizz look a lot a like but the twins don’t necessarily except for the forehead mark. I wonder if Tilla adopted Blitzø and Barbie and raised them along with her own son. This would explain why Blitzø and Fizz were so close growing up as well as Blitzø’s drive to adopt Luna.

Judging by the shape of Blitzø's scar the most probable thing that caused it could've been a burn. From there we can take different ideas of what happened (involving a fire obviously).
The scene that I can imagine is a fire in their house in which Blitzø greatly suffers and in which his parents perish to it. Barbie probably was out of town performing due to her new found fame.
We still have the last episode and other seasons to wait, though I hope that this is shown in the last episode of this season!
Maybe, I did wanna mention fire doesn't hurt them tho. But maybe it was a special type of fire.

Probably the best part about this show is that they could potentially have a human character on earth get killed, sent to hell, redeem themselves, go to heaven, get kicked out and end up on earth all over again.
There was a theory i saw a little while back (very unlikely to be true but was interesting)
When Vaggie talks about Alastors power to Angel, there was a picture of Alastor towering over what appeared to be a circus. Maybe blitz got his scar from escaping near death from Alastor. While people may say thats not possible as Alastor cannot go to the greed ring as he is a earth born sinner and the circus blitz worked at was in the greed ring, it could be likely blitz worked at a circus in the pride ring (the ring all the sinners including Alastor are trapped in) at some point in his life.
Again this theory is very unlikely but i thought it was interesting.

I think that that could very much be possible and likely to be true, except that the only Hazbin Hotel content we've seen so far is the pilot, in which lore can change when the show fully releases. Still a brilliant theory though
Unlikely or not, it's still a fun theory. Sadly, we'll never get a crossover between Hazbin and Helluva due to the two being different forms of media, but I'd imagine there could still be ways to imply Alastor being the cause of the attack without him actually appearing. Like showing the shadow of his antlers among the flames or radio static being heard in the background.

@@thepizzafoogle5481 Helluva Boss is a web series while Hazbin Hotel has been commercially licensed for a television series by A24, meaning they can't crossover for copyright reasons. Viv even confirmed that we won't be seeing a crossover between the two shows.
I don't know if anyone else said this but with the side by side comparison you can also see that his hands aren't white (the part that isn't fingers). Present Blitzo covers them up with gloves but when he isn't wearing them you can see it covering the entire hand except fingers. I guess this also confirms that his hand scars were part of the accident.
Well, I think he got a severe burn during a circus accident, and since hellborn demons live long, it's quite possible they were doing a performance in the Pride Ring one day, and Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) caused a terrible fire with his power. This is quite confirmed by the fact there was a scene of him leaning over a burning circus in one scene. So it might have happened that his mother was caught in the fire, and he tried to save her (yea fire in hell hurts demons) but failed and got hit by a fire. He was crying due to enormous guilt when he saw her image in his phone, and he remembered how he failed to save her. He couldn't take it anymore, and completely broke down.
That's actually a really good theory!
one thing that doesn’t make sense with this theory: in one of the episodes a human tries to burn them alive and it doesn’t work. Blitzø and Milly confirm that they can’t be hurt by fire

Maybe in next episode Loona will do more then stand in background, maybe at least caring side, she was always acting rude to Blitz when around other people but maybe she's different when only face to face with him, especially when she'll find out that Blitz had mental breakdown

ALSO! Why do Fizzarolli and Blitzø have permanent red rings around their irises? We only see Moxxie have them when he’s mad or on an acid trip. Millie and other imps don’t have these permanent red rings around their irises.
Barbie Wire and Tilla also have these rings. Why? No other imps seem to have these!

I like to think that instead of something chaotic, that he got the scar when he was drinking hot coffee or he got coffee spilt on him leading him to like cold brew drinks.
Judging by the way Blitzo reacts to the photo with his mother in it and the fact that the necklace she was wearing is the same one that Blitzo has been wearing the entire show I think their mother is dead her death connecting to how Blitzo got his scar. Something along the lines of a fire (because his scar reminds me of a burn scar) where she died and Blitzo got badly injured. Barbie-wire would have already left Blitzo behind although we have not seen her in the present so she may have a scar of sorts.

@@melissaspencer3902 This is super late, but I mean it’s still not a bad theory. Blitzo specifically said “ *your* fire can’t hurt us” while talking to the human woman in ep 1, meaning that earths fire can’t; but hells fire probably COULD hurt them.
@@geilah12 In the first episode Blitzø says “your fire” as in Earth’s fire. Maybe the fire in the living world doesn’t hurt them, but what about the green fire we saw in Loo Loo land? Maybe it can hurt them and gave him the scar?
Scarification is a thing in the body mod community and something that has been used in many cultures before, so its not a stretch that it could be something done for aesthetic's in the helluvaboss imp world as well. I have a theory, and apparently many others as well, that the reason Blitz has that scar on his face may also have to do with why Fizz also has robotic limbs now. There may have been some big accident that led to their injuries and probably caused their falling out. Whether or not they explain this in the finale, who knows, but there's a whole nother season 2 coming as well so if they don't touch on it next episode at least they might in the future.

I feel that the white scar was over something Blitz was trying to do, like some revenge on to either Fizz or Barbie but back fired completely bringing a bunch of accidents, making all of his friends splitting up and making Blitz feel incredibly guilty of
The thing is that Blitz is almost FULLY covered in white spots and markings
That’s what happens when you live a life full of heartbreak and bad-assery

okay, i'm new to this channel but one, thank you for pointing these things out because i 100% missed them, and two, i LOVE you'r character design! it's so cool!
Freckles themselves are just scars from the sun, although they definitely don’t resemble wound scars, they are still considered scars. And going off the logic of all scars are white on imps, it’s not unreasonable to assume that Moxxie’s freckles are just scars he developed naturally from being in the light.
The scar might’ve come from his sister since in the poster barbie wire’s eyes have very thin slits and (if I remember because I need to rewatch it) blitz’s and moxie’s pupils were thin slits meaning she might’ve used her money from being famous and spent most of it on drugs but being constantly high she might’ve lashed out once withdrawal kicked in possibly being the cause of blitz’s scarring because one time she might’ve gone into a state of withdrawal and at some point got mad at blitz smashing his face into a wall and twisting him around thus scratching his neck (also she might have caused blitz’s scarring on his hands throwing him to the ground and stomping on his feat when he attempted to escape or protect himself)
I believe it happened when he tried to go solo or maybe he was hit with Molotov cocktail and it burned him kind of like what happened to Zuko when he disobeyed his father
Actually, in episode one we learned that imps are immune to burning. But that was fire was from the human world, its entirely possible that hellfire could still hurt them.

i think he got the scar, by when he was working for Verosika he had to protect her from something. in this protection blitzø got the scar to protect verosika, in return making her fall for him.

@StrawberryRoanDragon no, what we have been able to find while he was at the original circus he grew up with he did not have it. and we also know at loo loo land he didnt have it. so he must have got it between working at loo loo land and dating Verosika. which is why i said he mightve got it working for her.
She is not 17 years old, 17 centuries old. Demons value centuries like humans do with years. So when they speak of what you assume are years, they are actually speaking about centuries.
I don't know if you've commented on this before but I just wanted to mention that the scar blitzo's face looks like something that was caused by liquid if you look at the excess white dots in shape of the scar itself and also the ones that are on blitzo's hands they may have been caused by a liquid of some sort just a theory I had

yknow i've sort of noticed that the edges of Blitz's scar around the back of his head look almost like splash marks? idk how it'd fit in on the timeline but it does look like he got splashed with something that could have caused the scar, be that boiling water/oil (deep fryer accident at the circus?) or possibly even Acid. I can't say for sure but it does look like a splash

Like I mentioned The black heart fizz had could maybe be a brand mark like if Blitzo, Tilla, Barbie & Fizz could be working at Loo Loo Land at some point but till things went down fall in the end.

There’s one thing I’m confused about with the timeline of the show/I.M.P. In episode 3 Spring Broken, it was made pretty clear that it was spring break time of year with a lot of presumably college students on a spring break beach vacation, likely in March or April. But then in episode 4 CHERUB, the cherubs bring Lyle Lipton to what seems like a mall Santa with kids lining up to see Santa and sitting on his lap etc. This implies that it’s around Christmas time, so November/December, right? So does that mean that there was a 7, 8, or 9 month time skip between the two episodes? Kinda weird.
Also, at 13:11 of Spring Broken, Millie has the “removed” white patch in her hair again! Mistake, or intent? >.>

Maybe CHERUB was doing a “Ghost of Christmas Past” type thing where they’re just showing Lyle visions and he’s not actually going anywhere. Maybe IMP was just able to interact with the vision people on account of being demons. The last scene at the opera was probably real though, since he dies in it.
I also really wonder about Blitz' father since he's not in any of the photos.

Since Stolas took Octavia to LooLoo Land since she was a little demon. I wouldn't put it past Stolas to be the only person laughing at Blitzo's jokes. He seems inclined to give attention to people who need it.

The bodygaurd theory works well. It might have given not only given blitz the skills/idea start his own business but also the idea to steal the book. He seemed to have known before the hook up that he needed to steal it, so perhaps blitz did his own research and connected with stolas on purpose.

About Blitzo's scars i think that scar was made when he had fight against fizzerolli which Blitzo ended up with white scars on his face and arms. Fizz however ended up worse. He lost all of his limps and his horns as well. He shows his arms and legs can stretch multiple times that in his normal state so that means they are prostethics. His jester hat simulates his imp horns and when we see them they floating so he don't have them anymore, also Fizz's face is all white which made me believe that Blitz destroyed his face entiarly so Fizz is only torso with head now.

The only things I disagree with are Barbie Wire’s body marks and the implication that she is in rehab.
1- The marks. Don’t ask me why but I don’t believe those are scars. Since her and Blitzø are in a circus act together, I believe that the white markings are just body paint that she puts on for their shows.
2- Rehab. I don’t believe Barbie is actually in rehab. It was a vehicle that Verosika was using to deflect the conversation from herself and insult Blitzø’s sister in one go. Essentially she is saying, “I’m not in rehab because I’m not a Hollywood failure, but your sister is” My thought is that Blitzø leaving their twin act left Barbie to go solo but it didn’t go far and she eventually stopped preforming. It’s less of an attack on Barbie then it is on Blitzø. Verosika uses Barbie’s failed career as a way to make him feel guilty for ruining his sister’s life.
@cartoon universe pay attention to the scars on the hands. they are not present in flash back, but show up in real time. You had also mentioned that Fizz has robot arms, could it be possible that Blitz tried to get robot arms too? but doing so, and failing at it, cost him his family?

It was confirmed that blitz got his scar from a fire at one of fizorolies performances and he was verasikas bf until they broke up and it was also confirmed that when stolas was young he met blitz and had a crush on him then that leads into the pilot
I theorise that the reason Blitz has the scar was a fight between him and Fizz, resulting in fizz having a horn cut off, a few other limbs and probably some face scars (we haven't seen because of the makeup) and then running with and embracing it, amputation his other limbs and replacing them with robotic parts and Blitz getting a harsh burn to the face as I don't believe he could have taken a hit to the face that would have only caused a scar so a burn seems more likely.

Just a note I’m sure has already been said here, but fizzaroli and blitzo are confirmed siblings as of S2 E1, which likely means the marking is likely a family crest of sorts, also supported by the fact that their dad also has the crest.
I think that’s white spots are birthmarks and scars, sometimes the white spots are birthmarks from there human life and could also as you said tattoos.

Now I’m very curious how blitz met M&M.
My guess for how BlitzØ got the scar from an incident in the circus from fighting with Fizz, which could have gotten BlitzØ's mother killed, possible made a rift grow between BlitzØ and his sister (maybe because she blamed him for their mother's death or just because she wanted something better than working in the circus where she wasn't going anywhere with her life), and injured Fizz enough where he lost his arms. Idk, but that's my best guess. Most likely wrong, but who knows

I think he got it from a fight with Fizz or as we saw in episode five he has scars all over his body and he is an assassin which is a pretty dangerous job he could’ve got from a mission trying to kill someone
He had the scar when working for verosika so way before he became an assassin.

I personally lean more to the whole fight with Fizzaroli and/or the robo-ripoff. Given the level of violent animosity that Blitzø had when interacting with either of them. Even during the "Bad Trip" Blitzø gets manhandled by the hallucination of Fizzaroli.
Can you guys imagen a fully white imp? Like the kind of a mess, you'd have to go through as an imp to end up like that would be pretty brutal. Also I think Blitz might have dyslexia which would add to his inferiority complex that we all know he has.
My theory is that th crest represents a higher demon that "owns" the imps

His mom has this skull necklace and if you look at Blitz current outfit he has that same necklace. I think his mom died and the reason he started crying seeing her reminded him "killing" her and that's why the jester (or clown) hates him. Just a theory though.
So basically if Blitzo got a human disguise he would have a huge Zuko-esque scar.
My theory of how blitzo met stolas is Moxxie.
Moxxie been in musicals blitzo like musicals maybe he had a bit of a mishap on a set causing chaos and blitzo saw a possible assassin in him. With his reaction and offer him a part on his new endeavor.
Moxie family may be servants for solas (maybe he picked them up at the harvest Moon festival from wrath) or somehow connected to that part of serving the wealthy but there's something about Moxie's manners that made me think I'm going to be the case, he's always respectful when speaking to Stolas and it feels natural like they've done it a lot before.
Also Moxie becoming a real character on the stairs with solas in with those acid trip.
Maybe stolas family was having a party they were looking for staff and Moxie seen the blitzo needed a job after losing his bodyguard work thought he could offer him a mini bodyguard job at the event.
stolas would find it enduring that an imp thinks they can protect something and have some weird fascination with blitzo. Maybe something goes wrong and blitzo actually does save some people at the party which really impresses stolas to which blitz pitches his assassination business and stole his flonts's book that Blitzo steals.
@@Jaysucksatshorts yeah but I'm also okay with Way it is now👌 also I still think that Moxie's family may have serve stolas's and I'm now head cannoning the Butler as Moxie dad. If I'm wrong it's fine but it's fun to theorize while waiting for new episodes
This is really cool and it makes so much sense! Although I do wonder why I haven’t seen anyone point out or include the part we’re Verosica said to Blitzo, “So your sister says hi.” Meaning that she might know who Blitzo’s sister is and obviously has some communication with her.

Honestly, I like to think scars are from emotional trauma. Blitzø is of course covered in scars because he is afraid of “opening up his old scars” with those in the photos on his phone and walls in the end of episode 7.
On top of that, Verosika and Blitzø, in said phone photo, have no scars on their faces, so maybe it’s relationship trauma that gives these white spots, which could explain Mox’s and Millie’s lack there of scars.
I saw Brandon Rogers's normal British series episode 2 in that episode a character throws a blitzo plush and in 9 minutes of that video viziepop makes a camieo

While I lean towards the burn scar theory, another theory I came up with that I thought was pretty plausible was vitiligo. the cloudy, spotty pattern is accurate, and also the way it develops is accurate (it tends to start on the face and hands!) it can also start developing due to stress and is exacerbated by stress too
I think fizzerali and blitzo got in a fight, and won but was also injured, and fizzerali got so injured he had to become a cyborg which would explain the robotic details with his horns, arms, legs and torso( please bring this up)
At 13:11 of Spring Broken, Millie has the white patch in her hair again. I beleive I’ve caught this in a few other shots in other episodes as well, but perhaps not.. This was a feature thought to be removed from her pilot design, but maybe it has some intentional meaning? I figured I should bring this up!!
I found two shots of millie with white hair in that episode. I think it's just someone who worked on the pilot and forgot about the changes.
I dont think Blitzo̸ got his scar by being burned, this is because in episode 1 he said that the fire dosent effect them as both he and Millie were in fire. So I think that his scar has nothing to do with fire and being burned.
It could have been some sort of cursed or enchanted flame..
