    Doesnt all that plastic netting reverse the whole idea of conservation into polluting the ecosystem with non biodegrable hazardous material?

      this^^. Ultimately i'm sure they are doing a lot more good than harm, but it would be a nice improvement if they could use some kind of natural fiber for the net bags- or even just steel netting that will corrode away after a few years

    Should we be putting those sacks the oysters are in, in the water? Plastic isn´t detrimental to the environment?

      Yes. Would slash the bag and dump and recover still work

      Cotton or hemp bags would boi degrade. Even chicken wire might be better than plastic
