    Fantastic review, your english is on point! It's good that you focused on geared motor and what comes with it.
    The scooter looks very promising, and at 600$ with these specs it's a steal and should get the competition worked up, but first production versions tend to have the most issues, thus it would probably be wiser to wait for a v2, v3. I'd rather not be a guinea pig, realiability is important if it's a daily drive.
    To me, there are just 2 things that make it a no-go: loud motor with gears that will wear down and eventually need complicated replacement, and questionable breaking setup. With no electronic breaking a small, single rear disc is not only weak when you're bombing it at 32km/h, but will quickly get worn down.
    Navee S65 would be close to perfect for commuting if they opted for drum brake in the front, and a direct drive motor with regen in the rear, just like in Ninebot Max.
    What do they keep in that solid front wheel, anyway? Regarding speed limit, one would hope it would be hackable, just like Ninebot and old Xiaomis.

    Looks like a very good city El. scooter. Dual suspension, 500w motor and big battery are a great combo and at a good price at 599usd. But the price is Super Early Bird indiegogo so better decide quick whether to risk it and if in Europe probably vat tax will be added when arriving, food for thought. Great detailed video, well done

      @@TechMishka S65 has a geared motor, similar to e-bikes. Thus it is capable of better climbing and acceleration, but has issues with regenerative braking (large reverse forces placed on plastic gears) and noise. Good scooter, like the suspension, tyres and the decent ip rating! This needs indicators and regen braking and I’m not a fan of the motor noise at all but I can see the thinking, some Uk rental scooter companies have been trialling some of their fleet having a noise emitted to alert pedestrians so this would solve that. Xiaomi has missed a trick here, add better sealing to up the ip rating add suspension and indicators and a more powerful motor and xiaomi would have a better scooter than this one even. Specs for this fit in well with the expected Uk laws. However a bit more money and you can look at a single motor Apollo city and get even better ip, dual drum brake, back indicators although u lose any sort of portability.

      @TechMishka  Před 2 lety +1

      @@TechMishka Yeah, but you shouldn't mislead people saying it's the most powerful scooter. All i'm saying.
      Also, it's not worthless. Say you're a 120 KG dude and going up a 30% incline. You're gonna have a bad day with a single motor 500W.

      Mich wundert es doch immer wieder, das solche Scooter, so wie dieser nun hier, nicht eine Strassenzulassung für Deutschland bekommen. Warum ist das so? Es kann doch nicht so schwer sein, so einen Scooter , mit einer 20 K/mh Zulassung, auf den Deutschen Markt zu bringen.

      Lexa, it is not Germany only. Italy is about to implement a similar laws. UK had most scooters pretty much banned for a long time.
      I can easily share how things work here, in Sofia: regulations are on paper and you will barely see riders who do respect the traffic regulation. There are a lot of people riding scooters with 40-50km/h and it is pretty dangerous sometimes. A lot of accidents, sadly, and we don't even have that many bike/scooter riders. Often I don't feel comfortable or safe enough on some streets.

    Looks very average. 1 brake, very low top speed and heavy. I wouldn't even consider a scooter with a top speed under 35Km/p/h, just to slow. This scooter also weights more than an emove cruiser that has dual hydraulic disc braking and a 1600w motor that goes 48km/p/h and does 80km on 1 charge. If this scooter was under 20kg and 35kmh it may be worth looking at otherwise there is already many better options.

    Using this scooter for short commutes is the way to go, as it makes it really fun. czcams.com/users/postUgkxvyNuxpWiHTNypxG6nyqyf7ywc7Q16PDM Both the levels of speed it allows you to use are very fun, though 20mph can get pretty scary on bad roads. It makes a cool electric sound as it is accelerating. The battery life is also pretty impressive, as I can go anywhere around me within a ~10 mile radius and back home with a full charge. I expected the tires to feel somewhat like a toy, but it is legit, and has pretty good grip on surfaces. Braking on this scooter is also really fun, since you can even do a little drifting if you break hard. The wheels on the scooter are definitely very high quality, as they are wide and well sized. The entire scooter is pretty high quality too. I have fallen on it a couple times because I was being a little reckless, and the scooter still works perfectly fine, with some minor scratches on the sides. I found the brake lights to be very cool as well, since they flash when you brake.
