TUX was one of the very first heroes to fight AGAINST Women even if they were Enemies!!!!! When he fought against Zoicite as a woman in DIC. Also as the brainwashed Evil Prince Darien 🤴 when he fought Jupiter and almost punched his Fist into her pretty face!! But the censors weren't quite up to the task yet!! Also he fought His One True Love Sailor Moon 🌙 Herself in the DIC 1994 TORONTO battle that was highly edited yet acted PERFECTLY by Terri and Toby with new background music 🎶 and the Truly Beautiful music of her Heart Locket Music Box that ❤ called to his heart ❤ and then all he had to do was touch it!! And let the True Power of the Emperyan Silver Crystal fill his soul with the Brilliant Light of LOVE ❤ AND FRIENDSHIP, SO MUCH, that All the evil Majik of Evil Queen Beryl was Exorcised!!!!! And he regained his memories of his True Love ❤ for the young Moon🌜 Princess 👸 Serena!!!!! And this gave her the Real Faith and Courage to face Beryl even though Beryl was Majikly Transformed into a GIANTESS 50 FEET TALL and filled with even more Black Heart 🖤 majik. Yet Sailor Moon 🌙.....actually The Royal Princess 👸 can call upon the POWER OF FRIENDSHIP from her sisters and Sailor Soldiers Princess Guardians to combine with her!!!!! And BLAST BERYL WITH SILVER CRYSTAL POWER TO VAPORIZE HER INTO OBLIVION!!!!! This is a recurring problem with magical girl stories, they won’t share the awesome kicka*** moments with major male characters in blind “girl power” preaching!
It's not that it's "girl power" so much that it's "girl focus". In maho shojo anime such as these, while the Male superhero's are seldom the focus, it's at least usually hinted that they are as capable as the Female leads if not MORESO. It's Marvel Cinematic Universe and present Day American mainstream comics in general you are thinking about! ;)
It’s not “girl power”, most magical girl shows got their female characters being ridiculed most of the times, it’s just bc most men in these shows are just emotional support or even male damsels in distress
