Yeah, again, the editing is horrific. The biggest thing to keep in mind with 4AD is you WILL forget something- but just remember, it's supposed to be FUN. Writing on the map helps you build a narrative as you play, adding detail to the world, very cool! It's been fun watching you play although the dice hate you at the end - I sorry! :)
It gets much worse in Chapter 3! :) Lucky for me I find it humorous when things go horribly wrong.
I know the pre-play section of this video was way too long but I had to point out how fantastic the random dungeon I ran between plays with a different party was.
I bought "Dark Waters" which arrived this evening (I wanted to see the quality of the Amazon print on demand books, it's nice enough) and am pretty excited to check it out, but I might need a bit of a break.
Thanks for watching and being so supportive! It's a fun system that takes some brute force to get in to but the payoff seems worth it.

I cut Andrea some slack sometimes since he is Ukranian. And there will be things that get botched through translation, etc. And it has a very low price tag.
Should of been a 2nd roll to see if its the final boss? That gets +1 for every boss youve defeated.
Also, you are the player AND the gm. I found that the invisible gremlins really interfered with my enjoyment of the game, so......
I reroll and don't use them. They don't exist in my gameplay world.
I rolled the invisible gremlins some absurd number of times. No kidding, like seven of my first eight games. It's a weird mental block on "house rules" I have, so I tried to roll with it, and therefore I was very hard headed about the "and the GM" part.
Thankfully, I'm coming around.
Ultimately I wanted to throw the books out with the trash after the last time, but instead I came up with this:
If you roll invisible gremlins (not goblins, I called the goblins for like a week) and you have NOT yet killed the boss, reroll on the same chart. The gremlins only have the guts to come out after the boss is dead.
@@CeePhour I just reroll twice on that table, It still sucks and I've wiped a few times but at least its somewhat fair
