Gorgeous country, Arizona is for sure God’s country. Planning on spending a week there again in a August. Can’t wait to be able to move there.
I live in Arizona and couldn't agree more.
Jeff, that's a very beautiful view very very beautiful!thanks.
Thanks. Lovely area.
YEAY! Finally more vids. God it was too long waiting.
I lived off of spur cross road as a kid , that was back in the late 70s
I love your videos. I also like these types of videos, but I will always watch all your videos.
2 major wildfires broke out in Cave Creek within a 10day period in June. The horse feed store burned down during 2nd fire. Sherriffs investigating that fire. Why did the other 2 big fires occur? No one seems to have an answer.
No evacuation warnings given promptly to homeowners...
Never going back.
Another major wildfire broke out at Bartlett Lake shortly after June major fires...the whole fkn towns on fire...it is scary as hell. It was like hell on earth.
Major fires happen frequently around here. Buyer beware. Plus you have to pay a yearly metro fire fee and Metro doesnt help you with any evacuation warnings. People received the phone evacuation call 3 hours too late while houses were burning down.
Smashed that thumb, enjoyed this! It looks very similar to Cochise County, but Cave Creek has those beautiful saguaros. Pretty high prices for homes, though. Wow.
Enjoyed this video! We love driving thru Cave Creek and I’m glad it’s not far from us! We’ve eaten at the Horny Toad but have to get to El Elcanto Dos! 🌵
Beautiful place.
use to ride my dirt bikre on power line off jomax rd in scottsdale in the tonto national forest on the back side of cave creek to bartlett lake hunted mule deer and javalina also in the early 90s sure do miss AZ what to move back but expensive now
How funny, I was there driving through after Bartlett lake for the first time after living in Scottsdale for two years...It was a nice place
Thank you so much Jeff !! The best and thank your brother as well for all of your experience. Kid how's the el encanto??? Hahha never mind just saw it live hahaha..great food I agree!! Much love from Boston
Brilliant
I lived in Cave Creek a long time ago. I went to Black Mountain elementary school and Desert Arroyo middle school. We lived in the house on 6060 east Fleming road. Awesome town. I can’t believe the Dairy Queen and the Horny Toad are still there. I think there was another place called The Satisfied Frog across the street back then.
I grew up in Carefree during my teen years. My parents owned a restaraunt in the Spanish Village called "The Dancing Bull". After my parents sold the restaurant I took a job as a cook at the Horny Toad and lived on Kuhuana Place at Sunset Trail. I had my first "legal" drink at the Tree House. Good ol' days for sure! I miss Cave Creek alot. Visit every year.
I live here! 2 days after you filmed this the "Black Mountain Feed" which you were driving by at 4:05 burned completely down! :(
Great video Jeff! Is Cave Creek a family friendly area?
Nice area, we’ve been up there exploring. Not a lot of signs..
What's the water situation like in Cave Creek? Are there any homes in Arizona with a well ? (ground well I guess) - I apologize if I sound clueless, but I'm European! I've been watching your videos for a while.. and.. I really like Arizona! I love the pueblo style buildings, the beige homes, the cacti, the landscape.... amazing countryside in the true sense of the word. The scorpions I'm used to from the Mediterranean, and I encountered all sorts of dangerous creatures during my fieldwork in Australia. The desert heat and availability and quality of water would be my greatest challenges in Arizona, I guess.
There are homes with wells but the water quality can be bad - arsenic is common. They are very deep and expensive too. Some towns have city water systems which is the best way.
@@serenitytranquilitypeace7995 thank you for the reply! I suppose people buy bottled water from the supermarkets as in most places.
Arizonans are rather fine with tap water actually, if you are born in a desert, you don't really care about the taste of the water as long as it's hydrating. The majority of houses have reverse osmosis systems on them nowadays. I remember drinking irrigation water one day when I had been playing outside in 120f weather. I've been stung by a scorpion as young child and my foot just swelled a couple sizes. Other than that I've never seen during the day, only at night and in their natural habitats, although they do occasionally nest in palm trees. One of my dogs has been eaten by a coyote, and a cat by a bobcat. So other animals are here as well. Arizona has more water than is often thought because the state topography is often not what people have in mind. But it is something we are forward thinking in
is crazy ed's lazy frog still there or did they not rebuild after the fire?
How hot was it outside during this drive?
Drive where area’s casinos are! See there homes over in these places
sad there's a fire evacuation already :(
Id like to see homes in the 250s when driving with the real estate agent (your brother) in the locations you’re complimenting.
ha, good luck finding anything within 10 miles at that price. if you do, it's going to be a studio or guest house at best.
Cave Creek seems like it’s removed from civilization and the roads are poorly maintained? but it definitely seems to provide you independent living, privacy and views... but too remote for me if you need to get into the city on a regular basis.
I used to go hunting for turquoise rocks on the southwest part of Black Mountain. Cave Creek is where the AZ Hells Angels have their headquarters. They throw a big party every year.
Aside from the fire, that was a beautiful drive. I enjoyed the kid voice in the background 😊.
Just what do you call affordable
I've never understood why the world needs real estate agents, and why they get paid to skim their clients out of money enough to drive Mercedes.
Good point. I am going to buy a high end sports car, but that's because I worked my ass for it! Mommy and daddy didn't help me. It's the American Dream. There is no reason anyone in this country shouldn't be rewarded for hard work.
To spend half to over a million dollars for a house that may or may not burn....not to mention the air quality that’s possibly carcinogenic due to tankers...smh
C.Marie Ramos yes but fires are rare and can happen anywhere. It just so happens on this day one occurred.
Living in Arizona Now Were any homes destroyed or people hurt?
2 major.wildfires within a ten day period...no evacuation warnings either...no.thanks. never going back there
Nothing but a advertisement.
