great profile i also played a more standard branded chimera list at the event but i want to give this a try. i found myself bricking on alluber and branded opening so having more in deck definitely sounds like something that coulda helped me out. also! the time card i chose to play was red resonator because i know that other decks time plays can be 1000+lp and that gives me the highest chance to gain more. just food for thought i’d love to pick your brain about more tech choices too!
I tried a 50 card Branded Chimera list without much luck. I've cut it down sub 45 and now it bricks less. 40/41 is too low because you'll brick on the Albaz and Berfomets. 50 may not be enough, you're better off going to 60 like this list or you'll still brick.
The red resonator is a cool tech too! I was searching through the database for beasts and fiends that could do burn so I must've missed the gain life cards lol. One issue with resonator is that I'd have to pass to my opponents turn before using the monster reborn of the gazelle fusion and the situation I was looking into was winning on my Main Phase 1. But it's a cool tech for sure!
Excellent list and the explanation behind one copy of Nightmare Apprentice makes perfect sense. In situations where you lose the die roll and have to go second, not having Diabellze in your hand and having it relegated to the side deck will do more for you. Thanks for taking time to explain and share your list, when I saw the top I was wondering how it was done. Looking forward to your deep dive on the deck!
