It’s been a big week in the world of media and no matter what you may think about Tucker Carlson and his axing from Fox, it arose because he valued the most important principles of journalism in a profession that has profoundly lost its way - Truth. Carlson has been a force Fox have found difficult to control and it’s not because he’s uncontrollable, but because he is an enigma seeking to hold to account the establishment, and if that meant biting the hand that fed him, then he had no qualms doing it - and he did. Since parting ways on April 24, Fox News’ ratings have been down ever since, and the ratings continue to drop, as viewer backlash mounts over Carlson’s axing and the most-watched show on cable news.
