  • Youth Lead is a three-year program launched in October of 2018. It is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by FHI 360 in partnership with the National Youth Development Council and Avencion. The goal of Youth Lead is to support, network, and elevate outstanding young leaders ages 18 - 35 from across Zambia to amplify the impact of their work, inspire civic innovation and promote a culture of sustained leadership.
Youth Lead will fund a paid six-month internship for approximately 350 to 400 youth over the life of the program. Applicants selected for internships must successfully complete a 4-day, pre-internship training. Upon completion, participants will be placed with a host organization - civil society organization, government entity, or private business. www.youthleadzambia.org

It is wonderful to see youths in leadership positions. Bemba saying says, ' imiti iyi kula empanga'.translated as, 'up growing trees result to a thick bush of tomorrow. Regards.
