I, EthanAnimatez, wanted to revive the nostalgic magic of childhood Minecraft experiences through my new roleplay series "The Other Side." Many of us grew up playing Minecraft, eagerly returning from school to immerse ourselves in its blocky worlds with friends, carefree and full of awe. The times you can never go back to, but that you'll never forget. The worlds lost to time, the friends who have moved on, and the servers that have closed. But there's beauty even in the sadness. The memories will always be a priceless keepsake, a recall of a time when everything was possible in a blocky universe, even though the game may no longer have the same charm it once did.
Old Minecraft was GREAT.
Today's Minecraft CZcams scene is oversaturated with repetitive, over-edited content that has strayed from the game's original essence of imaginative freedom. Videos like Minecraft but, Minecraft 100 days, Minecraft civilization, Minecraft hardcore, and Minecraft manhunt have become the medium of repetitiveness. With "The Other Side," I aim to bring back an era of authentic, nostalgic Minecraft experiences that travel back to the golden age of OLD MINECRAFT. Join me on this journey through "The Other Side" to reminisce about the good old days of Minecraft while experiencing a refreshingly new narrative adventure series.

@EthanAnimatez You should try this next time but with distant horizons 2.0 and iris shaders for some huge render distances and more realistic feeling

Heck ya! We’re going back to the days of 1.8.9 pv- I mean the old survival days when it was fun to explore with friends in a new world/game.
Yeah actually I missed those days. Me, my brother, cousins used to play together on the PS4 or MCPE. Gotta thank my cousin for introducing me to minecraft all those years ago.
I miss the days when it was just exploring with friends in a new game was fun times. Still is fun now but the memories that were made can't ever be replicated..

This was amazing! The voice actors were spectacular, I love the shaders that were used... everything was just SO WELL THOUGHT OUT. And the story has definitely left me wanting to see more 👀. I can't wait for the next episode!

Oh wow, this is so cool. And I thought it was gonna be those types of role plays like the ones Ethobot makes, but man this is better. It really brings in the memories of what minecraft used to be. And also, not sure if it was intentional, you integrated the creepypasta feeling, which used to be really popular in old minecraft, too. Thank you for this, and claps to the actors, they did really well.

The pilot was amazing and so good! It’s kinda of nice to see and hear Ethan’s voice while playing the game Minecraft. I like the cinematic scenes too. A hopefully they can find Aiden and I wonder who warned Ethan about Aiden.

If you do continue this series, I recommand using the new distant horizons mod. Its an amazing mod and would make your POV even cooler. It even works with shaders! But its still in beta so it might not work with all shaders. (Just a suggestion though!)
