- Tony Moras is at the MTV Movie and TV Awards with Vanessa and Laura Marano! We talked to them about their new movie they are producing (alongside their mom) AND star in. The movie is called 'Saving Zoë' are the girls explain that it is "much darker" than anything they have ever done. We also talk to them about the perfect movie date and sneaking into theaters!
Laura and Vanessa Marano are sisters from Los Angeles that started their entertainment career at a very young age. Since then they have gone on to star in a number of series on television and film. Laura Marano is most known for starring in Disney Channel series Austin & Ally as well as acting alongside Noah Centineo in Netflix’s hit movie “The Perfect Date”. Laura is also a singer with an amazing catalog. Marano’s song Boombox recently hit 61 million views on CZcams. Her newest music video for “Lie to Me” will release June 26. Vanessa Marano starred in ABC Family drama Switched at Birth. She also starred in a Snapchat series Dead Girls Detective Agency. Together, the Marano sisters will star alongside each other in Saving Zoe, a crime drama coming out July 12 of this year.

What shade lol? This is just how siblings behave. They tease and pull one another's leg. My older sister does it to me all the time and I know for a fact she isn't jealous of me. She has no reason to be lol.
I don't know Vanessa or Laura personally, but I have been a fan for a while and have seen several interviews, lives, ig stories, etc. Based off everything I've seen, I can tell you I have never sensed jealousy between either of them. I have sensed a genuine friendship.They make fun of one another but they also adore one another like best friends. Vanessa is aware that her sister is more famous, but it doesn't bother her because she is one of those celebrities who doesn't care about fame. I'd recommend listening to her podcast interview with gilmore guys. You'll see after listening to that interview that she doesn't give a damn about fame. She just likes acting. Vanessa is a very reserved person, even Laura herself has said this. Usually celebrities who are reserved don't enjoy fame.
Vanessa is actually super supportive of Laura (and vice versa). You should see the way she promoted Laura's songs especially "Me", it was so creative and hilarious lol.
