Возможно, нужно было не только собрать ингредиенты в колбочку, но ещё и сварить их.
They forgot to mix it together!
Nah he just didnt ate the bottle along with the potion
Either any of the ingredients was wrong or there is one missing. Maybe it required a special flask to start with.

The only reason why players pay Greg for the potions. It is so that they won't have to see the process of making those potions.
He also uses other ingredients. They teach adventurers "alternative" recipes to avoid issues with people disliking monopoly situations. Hey if you don't like it you can make it yourself.

Using rancid pond water instead of fresh spring water is possible when potion brewing, but you need to either add additional ingredients to counteract the negative traits, or be a mastercraft potion brewer using the legendary alembic and mortar, which allows you to remove negative effects of potion ingredients. Also, because you are using subpar ingredients, you do not get the quality bonus of high quality materials so you need to adjust your crafting macro accordingly. Basically, it doubles the steps needed, so unless you are doing a one-off that doesn't rely on high quality results, it's best to spend the time to gather the best ingredients. Even if that means paying a garlic farmer...

Yeah, i was expecting that too
Adam's didn't work because it wasn't pus he collected from the frog. On the bright side, the frog will want to continue to be Adam's buddy.
Of course! I think now we know why there is a spring and a frog right infront of Greg's shop. Oh and the fruit probably was dropped by Greg while he was making his potions. :))
Yeah I was also thinking this was going to happen.
Would have been even better if Britt bought the potion from the vendor and it was sparkling blue in contrast and Adam refused to see a difference 😂
Or exactly the same.
Would have been funny if Britt decided to buy the potion and drink it before returning to Greg and asking what was in the potion and it was even more disgusting 😂
I think that potion should work normally and be exactly that same as one bought
I so would have wanted the potion to magically become perfect and then Britt observing the exact same procedure performed by Greg in a later video 😂

The reason the potion didn't work is because Adam forgot to eat the bottle. Heck, he didn't even consume the whole potion. Potions in games are always consumed whole, bottle and all like it was shown in that one previous episode.
Lies, first Legend of Zelda game you buy the red potion and drink half to turn it into the blue potion to be able to drink it again. 2 uses
@@barnabusdoyle4930 The people in this video clearly aren't playing Zelda.
In RuneScape you only consume the potion and in doses. a typical potion bottle holds 4 doses, but the potion is made at 3, so you have to do some pouring, to get the most out of your inventory space. And once all the doses are drunk, you get an empty vial, that you can use again.
in a game that won't be named you don't eat the bottle, you just kill a few monsters and it automatically refills. and that's why healing potions are usually red.
@@namejsklava8276 Unless you set them to destroy like in RS3. in which case, yes, yes we do eat vials. and buckets. and other important items.

In a way, Adam was right when he asked Britt what she knew about waterborne diseases. Out of the diseases she named, only Typhoid is waterborne. Malaria and Dengue are mosquito borne, Scabies is spread through contact, and Botulism is contracted through eating contaminated food.

He forgot the fermented spider eye. Without it, its a potion of weakening not a potion of protection.
I was expecting some protection ability boosts earned along with Adam showing the water-bourne disease symptom :D
Adam gains +25 protection
Adam is struck with dysentery
My favorite thing about these potions and other "magical ingredients" is that, presumably, people had to somehow figure out that "hey, a spider eye plus a goblin toe produces a potion of health!" This meant that somebody, for some reason, specifically prepared and brewed objectively disgusting and hard to get items together, then drank it. Not only that, but they noticed "hey, it did something magical," and somehow managed to convince other people to try it.
It gets even funnier when you consider potions that either have effects on others, or an effect on you that is only noticeable by others (invisibility, etc). In order to figure those potions out, they had to have somebody else with them while they drank random gross concoctions.
I'm just impressed with Britt's knowledge of water born diseases.
Scabies!
The joke is that of all the diseases mentioned only typhoid is water-bourne. Most she mentions are transmitted by animal vectors and botulism poisoning is usually from food or spores getting into open wounds.
@@BajanJas Yup, scabies is another name for mange as well. It's transmitted through a type of dust mites.

This is why potion makers don't put ingredients on the bottles!
Also, my guess as to why the potion didn't work is: that is *not* spring water.
That's a pond, so stands to reason that it would be used in a "flush poison" potion
More like extreme laxative potion
It is water and it is currently spring. So... spring water.
@@Erkle64 nah, I don't accept that. If it's a question of *when* an ingredient is from, it shouldn't be phrased that way. Besides - what protection potion makes you throw up?

The potion didn't fail, he just forgot the critical campfire or alchemy bench step, depending on the complexity level of the potion. Also you might have forgotten a dose of base like an alcohol.

I want this MMO so bad now. Any other game wouldn't even blink at using foul ingredients for a potion, but in this one, instant diarrhea and vomiting.... I need this level of realism.
