  • Created by Queensryche from 1988's "Operation Mindcrime".
One awesome "super-song" from the masterpiece that is Operation Mindcrime.

Anarchy-X is one of the best tracks ever made in history of music - monumental 1,5 minutes.

Queensryche are old bastards & so are us fans but this album becomes more relevant with every passing day.

it's a shame most never listened this this album in its entirety, ASIDE form amazing music, lyrics and vocals they would have heard the whole story being told, but in true fashion, only certain "buzz" songs were picked for play...so many have missed the sheer genius of this record one my of my top 3 all time favorites

Yeah partly why I hate listening to the radio in my area, I am one of those guys who puts on Queensryche and listens to it the way it was meant to be played, from one end to the other!! Today music is full of poser rappers and one hit wonders that can't write a decent song on their own and only record music that the record label TELLS THEM TO MAKE!! Hell ever listen to the debut Tesla album??? Ever song on it is a hit, even the band Warrant had a couple great FIRST albums and Great White I can sit down with their first three albums and listen to them back to back!!!! And don't get me started on bands like Boston or Foreigner or even Steve Miller, bands you can listen to, know and like EVERY DAMN SONG ON THE WHOLE ALBUM!!! In all Deep Purple was no stranger to this "song writing" ability either!! Machine Head is still one of my favorite albums and bands like Rush with their debut album was great but Moving Pictures knocked it out of the park!!!

That means I was one of the lucky ones. When I was a kid, my parents had every album of theirs that was available, and they’d play this while cleaning or just to jam out, and hearing the whole thing was a trip, especially as a little kid

I know this may seem pretty stupid but they're supposedly making a musical of this album...I'm glad because the story is great and the music is just amazing. If they do it right...no saying how glad I'd be

Geoff Tate has all the rights to both the O:M name and performance as a suite. It would have to be run though him first.
