@@carranza979 Yes, I believe it will. The housing market has bottomed out twice in the past 15 years. I bought a brand new build, 3300sq ft, 5bd/3.5 bath house for $244k in 2017 because the market was flooded with houses and it’s worth over $600k today. Just gotta buy in the dips and rn is for sure not a dip. Interest rates and property values are too high/over inflated rn but it will pop soon I’m sure.

Not with Black Rock buying properties at a premium and increasing the overall value of housing to stop houses from foreclosure , in return you will see increasing rent prices that is happening now , that's why I'm not selling my house since I know the banks wants to be the buyer and lender of first and last resort so the samething that happened in 08 doesn't happen again . This is also happening in the stock market and it's called quantitative easing which means the feds are printing trillions of dollars to pump back into the market so the market doesn't crash either. Well they actually aren't printing money when they are just digits on a screen .

I live in Norwalk, CA. Houses are $700K-$800K. My friend just bought a house here and his mortgage is $5800. Don't know why you have never heard of a $6000 mortgage.

You need to monitor rates. Rates are dropping but as they continue to drop prices can go up. You can refinance or buy points but I wouldn’t buy points to bring the rate down till end of the year when rates reach the lowest.

I'm new :) but you both are a beautiful couple. Anyway let me remember what it's called but there is actually something where you can still "rent" because like you explained you wouldn't be sure if that's where you'd want to be for the next however long but the"rent" also goes towards buying it if you decide you do want to buy it. I know it also could be up to the owners but it's not what most people think it is, but it's dang it, I will figure out what it's called. But basically it'll end up all your rent you've paid goes towards purchasing but then there's a contract of you getting back what you've paid if it's a house that doesn't work out as what you want lol. Give me a bit and I'll find out lol.

I can't think of it but you can talk with a realtor and explain it but it might be called something like the "buy back" but the owners I do believe have to agree but a realtor will know for sure. And there's usually like a time line which some give 6 months up to probably a couple years. Idk just a thought. :) Good luck on the perfect solution for you both.
