I still do capoeira, I actually have a green belt and would love to challenge you when you come to NYC . You should come and try out how capoeira is better and different from how L.A does it. NYC is more diverse and symbolizes the implicit meaning of Capoeira is every shape of form.
What do you mean "how LA does it". LA ain't grouped together. Then aagain, I don't know how old you are. There is a very large Balck Martial Arts Community presence in LA COUNTY as a whole (which includes Inglewood, Hawthorne, Gardena, Culver City, Hollywood, North Hollywood, West Hollywood, San Fernando, Palmdale/Lancaster, Long Beach, Baldwin Hills, Compton, Carson, Cerritos, Venice, Santa Monica, Manhattan/Hermosa and the "city" of Los Angeles itself. What schools in LA have you gone to and challenged? Also, just so I know. In what way is NYC diverse? How long have you been in LA and where in LA do you dwell? LA is supremely divers and most people don't go south of the 10fwy and east of Fairfax. they stay west neat UCLA and Santa Monica....you know....people not from LA.
