+ About Longan
Longan, (Dimocarpus longan), also spelled longan, tropical fruit tree of the soapberry family (Sapindaceae),
native to Asia and introduced into other warm regions of the world.
The edible white-fleshed fruits are somewhat similar to the related lychee and are commonly sold fresh, dried, or canned in syrup. The juicy flesh has a mildly sweet and musky flavor. The longan tree grows to 9-12 meters (30-40 feet) in height and bears compound leaves with oblong glossy leaflets. The flowers are small and yellowish-white and can be staminate (male), pistillate (female), or bisexual. The almost spherical yellowish-brown fruits are commonly borne in hanging clusters. The thin leathery skin covers white translucent pulp that surrounds a single dark seed.

Muy interesante el Video, lástima que no tenga subtítulos que explique algo más del cultivo como por ejemplo el nombre del cultivo, a que temperaturas se puede sembrar, plagas, enfermedades, etc.
El fruto se parece a un cultivo que llamamos en Suramérica MAMONCILLO o MAMÓN.

@@dasmaitas I do not know or heard of anything as a spray to make them bloom. Mother nature took care of that. One thing I did notice sometimes a tree would not have many fruits or even only one side of the tree. This did not happen often.

In Cambodia, We can harvest it all season because we use San for​​ forced flowering and fruiting
