I think it's great they came out with a balanced legends and not an op mess hearing her kit in the leak thought this season would be bad but was proven wrong 😂
The only problem is the teammates are so stupid they didnt realize they can teleport when they are down

I hope this is a joke because I've been solo queing ranked and EVERY SIGLE GAME since the start of the season there's been an alter in my team, it does get annoying after some time😅

i got her yesterday and she’s so fun! the tac is insanely fun to use, my biggest tip would probably be to not waste it for just movement and wait for enemies to get good plays in fights

I was using Rev to crouch walk and flank now with Alter I can aggro from behind so my team can push or flip it if they aggro first. I think she truly shines with a team vs solo but has massive 1v1 capabilities as well. She A tier pushing S. Not broken and well balanced. Unlike Rev she doesnt have a the capacity to flee as quickly, especially in open areas. I love her, imagine if she could blink to wherever her tail pointed opening only a gate for herself at the same ranges. That would be broke.
What do you think about the fact that downed teammates using void nexus 😅

Needs a bit more distance on the ult when throwing it and a slightly quicker activation.
I wish she could manually close the portals, it would give her and even huger range of playability, but I can also see it be overpowered, maybe if they do that, give her a decently long animation so that way you can’t just close instantly

I do find. That a lot of people use my nexus right when I place it and essentially waste it for later use.
It's crazy how Alter has a better version of Ash's passive by being able to view deathboxes thru walls

Everyone always say that the new legend isn't viable in comp, just to be proven wrong later down the track. I think she'll be proven to be quite viable, but we shall see.

You can activate her ultimate portal if you are downed
As long you placed the Ultimate down before you are knocked, both yourself as Alter & your teammates can use the ability to retreat or reset
Alters ultimate is basically flying raijen
Can you get into loot vaults with it? Loba could only steal 1 item with market. Can she clear everything out?

I feel like on the surface, people tend to compare Alter to Wraith, and Conduit to Wattson but as a Wattson main who has played alot of Alter, I dont understand why people still make this shallow and unlike comparisons after playing the legends. After playing all of them, Id argue that Alter and Wattson are more alike than Wraith and Alter, or Conduit and Wattson. Both Alter and Wattson do have different roles on the team, yet have a similar playstyle of knowing the map knowledge and using it paired with their abilities to outplay opponents instead of having a mindless button that gives you a guaranteed advantage or get-out-of-jail-free card. Wattson's fences and Alter's port have so much nuance and outplay potential while having ults that are super team oriented and useful. Once we start seeing some insane Alter's go against good Wattson's it will be such a spectacle because they both have similar play styles and they counter each other in certain situations (Alter counters an unprepared Wattson, and a Wattson that fences the whole inside of a building easily counters Alter.) Its an absolute crime to compare these two to a op shield healer sidekick and a tiny lady who can turn invincible for a few seconds and shits out a portal whenever they feel like it. Its like comparing Albert Einstein, an actual genius, to Neil deGrasse Tyson, a con man asshole who is more of a celebrity that pretends to know science than an actual fucking scientist.

Don't really like the term secondary fragger. As for entry, not really. Yes her portal can be used to make a play but it isn't necessarily dedicated for this unlike a Knuckle Cluster or Maggie Drill.

With the addition of this legend, i think ash is more outdated than ever. I think Ash should have her ult and her tactical swapped with the alteration that the throwing star now have unlimited uses for a 6 second duration. The portal remains a one way trip, and cant go through surfaces as normal, but has a 25 second cool down. The new throwing star ult has a half second delay after throwing a star before a new one can be thrown. The snare of the stars takes double the amount of time to break, and if you hold your ult during activation Ash slows her speed by 40% and brings out 6 throwing stars in her hands and takes 1.5 seconds to lock onto any enemies within 15 meters that are in front of her (even behind cover) and only visible enemies within 35 meters. When this charged ult is released the stars are thrown in random directions in wide arcs and seek out their targets. When the stars can't be evenly distributed, the extras go for the closest target.
I've always felt like ashes ultimate should be her tactical. I mean in her trailer, she uses it casually in fights

Why do we need wraith now
Activating the ult when downed even for teammate will most certainly be removed or rewored. Name ONE ability in the game that can be activated when downed. Go on.....I'll wait. Why can't Valk uses her missiles when dowwned, it is shoulder mounted afterall. What about Bangalore with the shoulder mounted smoke cannon?

@@TimProVision It even looks wrong. You can crawl around while activating it but the character is using both hands to activate the pad. Respawn usually is careful with the hands animation so things that the character do makes sense, like unique animation for reloads when stimming with Octane.
I kinda wish they would get rid of the phase after going through a portal. I spent all that time putting down my fences only to have some crazy emo lady and her teammates zip right past them unharmed. I also hate that she can immediatly identify the correct mirage when in the void. Kinda makea him useless.
About time wattson gets a hard counter especially in ranked

Dude stop whining about Alter. We're all tired of how you people want the legends you like to be op but no other legend to counter it. Wattson is still pretty strong and is the first legend that I got a 3k DMG badge. Get... over... it. It's about time we got someone that counters a lot of the control legends.
@jamesblack5090 lol calm down. Just day you crutch OP legends without saying you crutch OP legends. My most played legend is Mirage, who is far from overpowered. Alter not only completely counters all the control legends, but she's overpowered against basically everyone else as well. I don't think that she should lose the phase effect because of wattson alone, I think it should go away because all together she's OP. I still think she shouldn't be able to immediately identity the correct mirage either.

Why are you back on console?
Match Queue times for a duo group on PC were taking up to 20 minutes+. So mostly just been playing on console for less time in the lobby.
@TimProVision what servers were you on? I only had like 1 minute queue for duos on the st.louis server

In one part you zoom the edit in on a kill you do on a balloon, not really necessary as this isn't a kill compilation, more distracting as someone might just look at the zoom in and kill instead of the listening to what you're saying. I'm already here to learn the character, so I don't need any short attention grabbing things in the video to make me stay.

Her abilities isn’t that OP for her abilities to be nerfed. Just learn how to counter an Alter when in-game
