- Ex-cons Tim Nolan and Gwen, along with two others, have been kidnapped and shipped to a deserted island, where they will take part in a twisted game run by wealthy entrepreneur Vincent Camden. The captives will be thrown onto the island and hunted down by a group of millionaires, all who have suffered some kind of loss at the hands of an ex-con. This is their retribution. But once on the island, the hunters become the hunted when everyone discovers that it's inhabited by a mythical, ferocious beast. With no way off the island and Camden still in control of the boat, Nolan and Gwen must find a way to defeat the creature and re-capture the ship before they all end up prey to the Hydra.

Actually, Sci Fi came after Syfy. Syfy is what the channel was spelled like in the 90s. It was switched to Sci fi in the 2000s. The more you know 😉
Well I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this B movie, the special effects weren’t the best but the acting wasn’t too bad and I did recognise a few faces from way back, would recommend watching.

Interesting moral conundrum - the 'hunters' have all suffered horrible unjust losses. The 'hunted' are all criminals. A little difficult knowing who to root for 😆 Maybe just the Hydra 😄

I wouldn't say the human Villains are evil apart from Sweet, Camden just wants to take the law into his own hands, while trying to make a game out of it, even the hunters are doing it for the thrill of the hunt.
