    We've had the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid for about 3 years now and we absolutely love it. we're both around 200 lbs and while we sink in a little, the foam is so responsive it's easy to move positions. While at $3300, it's certainly a luxury mattress, there's no doubt in my mind this will last us for years.

    Just went to try this one out and what a difference! Felt the soft and firm first then tried this and what a difference! The the TempurPedic feels like the body is pressure relieving and the springs have full support of the body solid feel, firm but not to firm just right. Firm regular was good if that is your style, then soft felt sinking in more bit firmer somehow. Happy with the order and thank you sir for your great review! Looking forward to a different feel of sleep, I know it will be great, back was popping, inflammation not knowing I had went away. Little things we tend to forget or not notice makes a big difference in time. Well worth it to anyone, shop around, went to Ashley’s furniture best deal in town from online comparison. Save what you can, it will add up in time, not even a treat, it’s your body, what gets you going for work or even off to enjoy your time, have fun, with out the aches and pain and know you’ll be getting a deep rest sleep. Really Excited, thank you again sir!

    Best review on this specific mattress I’ve seen! Wife and I just purchased this in the king. This is our first mattress as a married couple. I didn’t think we’d find one we both agreed on but this ended up being our Goldilocks bed. Got it with a power base too from Jordan’s Furniture

    We had the medium adapt to start with. It was way too soft, i felt like the bed was eating me. Lol. We gave it 3 months and then took advantage of our one time exchange in the store we purchased it at originally. We decided after some deliberating to upgrade and get the proadapt medium hybrid (same bed shown in video) and it is absolutely all its cracked up to be! I weight around 180 lbs and I sleep in all 3 positions, I too also have a tempur pedic pillow, we have the medium and the low. I get the most amazing sleep in this bed, it's like heaven. Of all 3 positions I sleep in, the back position is the most comfortable. My fiance is around 100 lbs and she is a side sleeper and loves this bed as well, so soft and conforming, yet supportive and has the right amount of firmness to it. 10/10 on this mattress. The medium adapt was so-so. The proadapt medium hybrid is hands down superior

    I live in Australia and the range we have here is slightly different to North America, but they are essentially the same brand (Tempur Vs. Tempurpedic) Anywho, I have the equivalent to the North American ProAdapt Firm in a King size, and after having it for 10 months, I can say that the slow bounce back we see in the material is only if the bed is cold / cool, at the start of the night. After you've laid on it all night, the mattress absorbs your body heat and you sink in so much more. Way different feeling you get between first laying down, and the feeling of the mattress in the morning (or even after just about an hour after laying down on it) I am 227 lbs and I am wondering if a hybrid bed such as this one is better for heavier folks like me. Unfortunately, I am now kind of stuck with this ProAdapt Firm one for a while. I must say, they do look like they'd last a lifetime! Keen to hear your thoughts and if anyone else has experienced the same as me.

    Love my new pro adapt! I have only had it for two nights and a friend of mine works for them and told me that I should buy one and he gave me a little secret I will tell all of you on how to break them in a lot faster so you are very comfy sooner than what the manufacture says. And yes he has worked for Tempur-pedic for 15 years now as a engineer in the technology of the bed. I went into mattress firm and I bought a I series hybrid and I thought I would absolutely love it. The problem was is it was sewing from right to left about every inch and a half from top to bottom. I have a friend that owns that bed and said they absolutely love it so I am not downgrading it it was just not the bed for me each one of those bumps dug into my back even though I had a medium firmness. Now with my Tempur-pedic after breaking it in in two days I slept through the whole night. I had a huge back injury due to a race incident where I broke my left shoulder blade all my left ribs and have had back problems ever since. If you watch NASCAR you probably know who I am due to my injuries that were talked about on national TV and I was super embarrassed due to the cars performance on that day LOL. Anyways after two days I slept through the whole night it’s been almost a year and a half since I have slept through the night I will say I will always buy Tempur-pedic even though I did not get the breeze because I am a hot sleeper on the pro adapt has a cooling cover built into the mattress I do not get hot like I used to. I honestly sleep like a baby and I’m actually happy to say that because I have not slept well in a year and a half to be honest I was scared to go to bed every night knowing that I would be up all night long. Now I don’t have to worry about that so I would say if you want to spend the money the pro adopt is absolutely amazing and my daughter has the cloud she loves that. She only has a twin because she is in college but it was the perfect bed that came in the mail as a bed in a box my pro adapt to gentleman came and set it up at my house free of charge. And here is the game changer my buddy that works for the company is a engineer on how the bed works with the body and the secret is is once they set it up put your brand new clean socks on and step on it from corner to corner throughout the whole bed for about 20 minutes he said to go over the whole bed at least three or four times which should take around 20 minutes and do it once a week. He said after two weeks it will be totally broken in with no harm to the mattress at all but it takes the break in period from 60 days to 14 days. It’s a little secret that all of the people at mattress firm know and tell there friends

    • @finalfantasy3808
      @finalfantasy3808 Před rokem

      Please stay away from Tempurpedics, all Tempurpedic beds are bad!
      -They leave an indentation within one year.
      -They don't honor their warranty, they ask you to send pictures ising a coin and they will still deny it. Even if they send someone to measure it for you with a string, they won't help.
      -They will hurt your back, your hips, shoulders, and arms!!
      -Despite their cooling technology, the bed makes you feel uncomfortably hot.
      -The bed sags
      -They have a horrible strong smell and mold growing within
      Ways people describe this indentation are:
      "Feels like you're in a canoe and you have to climb out"
      "Feels like you're stuck in mud"
      "Feels like you're sleeping in a bean bag"
      Please, for your sake, never buy a Tempurpedic mattress of any kind. They invest a lot of money in advertising to sell Tempurpedics, because it's a scam. How do I know? I bought the "Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Medium". I woke up with back aches, I tossed and turned overnight, and it truly felt like I was stuck in a mold. I hate this bed so much.
      I took it back to Mattress Firm and they tried to tell me that I needed to give it time to soften, that I should walk on it to break up the fibers. They said only 1% of people return a Tempurpedic. They said I shouldn't go softer because it will give me back aches. They said the medium is like "Goldilocks" from the three bears, it's in between firm and too soft. They say whatever they need to sell it.
      So I decided ok, I'll give it time and try walking on it. I go home and walk over it, I put weight on it for several days.
      Then I lay in my kid's bed, I fall asleep instantly! I did not toss and turn at all, and I can sleep on my back and on my side, either way it was comfortable. That's when I decided to go back to the store and demand they take the Tempurpedic back. There was no more room in my mind for persuasion to get me to stay with that expensive piece of so called NASA technology JUNK. So I chose another mattress that was not a Tempurpedic. No one should have to go through days, weeks, and months of body aches hoping for a bed to "break in". Unfortunately people find out too late that their back aches are coming from their expensive Tempurpedic mattress, too late to return, too late to get their money back.
      Here are honest consumer reviews about Tempurpedic beds, some have photos of the mold, indentation, and sagging:

Too long in same position caused us shoulder and lower back pain. Pillows are decent as well. We got tempurpedic precision support pillows. Not bad but get hot and lose support after couple hours. Purple 3 pillow is better just like mattress. Never heats up or loses support when temperatures change in mattress. Purple is neutral material than never gets hot and more durable then memory foam. Dont get me wrong. Nice bed but not as good for US as purple. Other thing I hated it had to be cold under 70 degrees for the bed to be comfortable. If it was above 75 forget about sleeping longer than one hour without changing positions. After they sink it it creates pressure on my shoulders

I am 69 with some lower back and hip issues, not extreme. Am 5'7", weight ranging between about 147-157. Tried about 9 bed in box mattresses, and it became a joke at work if I needed time off. Colleagues would ask, "Is it mattress related?" I was either having one delivered or having one picked up.
    Finally decided to splurge on Tempurpedic Proadapt, but initially went with the soft, as most of my bed in boxes seemed too firm. After about 2 months, I decided it might be a tad too soft, though overall, I loved it. • @TheRealReviewz
      @TheRealReviewz  Před 2 lety

      Any hybrid will be more on the firmer side unfortunately and the quality of this will outlast the Serta. The mattress will soften up and gets firmer when cold because of tempur material. Hopefully all works out. Let me know what you decided.

  • @michaelm7855

    Question about the hybrid: Does it play well with the adjustable base? or do the springs make it less conforming? I noticed when you put the frame into zero grav it came off the base in the middle, but would that happen with body weight on top? (We will be getting a Split Cal King). Thanks! - Good Review

    • @TheRealReviewz
      @TheRealReviewz  Před 4 lety +3

      That’s only because this bed was still a couple of weeks old and there was no weight on it. Any mattress will move when no weight is on it from what I’ve seen. The hybrid is a perfect example because unlike a traditional mattress the tempurpedic coils are individually wrapped providing each coil to maneuver.

    i would like to place this mattress on a platform bed frame but i’m having trouble finding one that doesn’t use slats as i’ve been told you cannot place a tempurpedic on slats. if i removed the slats and replaced with a sheet of plywood or placed the plywood on top of the slats... would this degrade the quality of sleep or create any warranty issues?

    • @TheRealReviewz
      @TheRealReviewz  Před 4 lety

      I use slats just fine. That is more of a myth. The bottom is a solid layer of dense free tempur which supports the entire mattress.

      If you have back issues you should be sleeping on your back ..and if you aren’t, you reallly need to train yourself to do so. Aside from that, try the proAdapt FIRM. It gives you a firmer support but still contours and molds to your unique shape the way memory foam should. The first few seconds that you lay on the ‘firm’ mattress you’ll think it’s too firm; but ten/fifteen seconds later you’ll be amazed at the combination of comfort and support. You’ll still be thanking me years from now. I tore my back up in the gym ten years ago and had to trade my old (other brand) pillow top for a firm tempur pedic.
