- In 'Devil May Cry 3' I played the role of Dante (both motion capture and voice), but in this instalment, unlike the previous entries, Dante is a wild young man around the age of 19. His actions had to reflect his age and personality; crazy and over the top!
I love you Reuben, Daniel and Johnny! All three handsome and talented dudes! Born to play these characters, I cannot wait for DMC5.

Around 2004 is the time CAPCOM wen't all-out on their cinematic budget. This masterpiece got Reuben Langdon. Onimusha 3 got friggin Donnie Yen. Special mentions goes to their sound department. everything's coming out of it during that time is all gems and not a single trash.

JACMIC23 On the production aspects. Every game developers churns out shit once in a while. It's like 2 years after they canceled the game that we get to know about it. That's like you're retroactively bashing them. And we all know at that time, CAPCOM is an amateur in 3D fighting games. That's why they had to hire AIRKA to make Street Fighter EX.

This was my second favorite scene of the game, the first was when Dante fought Vergil for the first time on top of the tower. Reuben and Daniel did an awesome job. Thank you for your hard work you guys are one of the best in my eyes.
You and Daniel easily made the best Dante and Vergil in the entire series shame that Capcom made that terrible reboot that looked like it's part of the Nightmare boss from DMC 1

Let's not be hasty I mean I understand the dislikes for the reboot but it had some great gameplay and funny writing. The story was good as we see Dante progress and mature at the end. Vergil takes command of the demon army which was cool. It wasn't as bad as people made it seem. But everyone has a preference for the original which is completely understandable as 1-4 is classic. (Edit) Don't forget that Dante and Vergil actually acted like true brothers through out the story in the reboot. Not for just one mission or a cutscene too through the whole game you get to see their relationship as true brothers.

Incredible how much technology has advances.
Look at the “details”. This is mainly a “Ragdoll movement” that the suits are recording.
But nowadays the actor’s face are “copy-pasted” down to their expressions, unlike this clip were developers had the liberty to animate them how they wanted them to be (the performance of life action was too “serious” with their expressions).
This is the most sentimental Dante, and I feel too much feeling when I see it at every time. Thanks.

I love this "played" Version from Dante in age of 19th, because he was so.... crazy and yeah, in my way funny. Means the same with Dante of the age of 30th (DMC4 if i am right).

More like 2/10:
-3 for shitty characters, -1 for emo crap, -1 for Tameem and political views and social criticism crap, -2 for nearly killing of the series, -1 for crappy boss battles
This was a bad game and should have never touched the DMC franchise. Capcom should be ashamed and I'm glad they are burying it and erasing it from history.
Oh and BY THE WAY:
Sure some parts of the gameplay were fun, but whatever good parts the gameplay had- it's Capcom NOT Ninja Theory mind you. NT stole the credit but most of the combat wasn't their work! It was some Capcom Japanese members who worked on previous titles. I remember watching dairies before the game came out- Capcom was supervising the combat gameplay. So whatever good was in the combat which is inferior to DMC in every possible way- it was Capcom mostly not the UK guys who tried to butcher and trash the series.
Evidence is Hellblade which they struggled getting proper combay for 2 3 years basically. And got a simple combat system that's no where nearly as fluid and complex as DmC.
So short version NOPE. If it wasn't a "DMC" game it would have been a much worse - * *terrible* game with horrible poor combat none of us world have liked!
Glad I wrote this.
We wouldn't even have a reboot if it wasn't for the fans bitching about Nero being the main protagonist in DMC 4.

Even earlier! I think Vixen from 1988 was the first game to use some level of it, but its use was relatively sparing untill the 2000s.
