FIRST DRIVE! 1,000hp N/A BIG BLOCK Camaro drives under it's own power!

- NO SLEEP TIL SEMA! The shop is running at 11/10ths to get all of our SEMA projects done in time with the main focus being our Chevy Performance Big Block ZZ632/1000 powered Camaro. Step one: make it drive under it's own power because we don't want to be a part of the Bluetooth SEMA stereotype. Suppy still has to build custom headers because the Chevy Performance ZZ632/1000 BIG Block is just too damn BIG! Literally bigger than the average big block and naturally we'll make a big exhaust to match too. Step two: make it looks AMAZING so it shines bright under the SEMA lights. Alex has to install the period-accurate Recaro seats. Offsite the team over at Streetfighter LA is printing our body kit, and the fine folks at Strasse Sport body shop are bonding, sanding, and painting it all! Last piece of the puzzle to bring it all together are our brand new American Racing D Window wheels with fat 295s wrapped around them! So yeah, it's almost time for a weeks worth of sleep...but the content will keep rolling out so ENJOY!

What should we do with the Camaro now that it's "done"?
Give it to a fan
This vs that stuff with it lol
you get to keep it?!
Take it to the freedom factory 🤷🏽♂️
Dose it burn out ?
We're gonna need This vs That 1000hp big block 3rd Gen vs The World series
My dumbass really sat here like “3rd gen vs the MLB champions?” 🤦🏻♂️ Aight, ima head out.
🤔
First race should be Camaro vs the Donk
Please this has to happen
Donk vs 3rd Gen🤔🤔🤔
I love how build and battle just became an audition for who hoonigan will hire to build their cars
But that means they need to have Josh and jamo back
Or more build and battle? Maybe?
@@Porcuponic Just waiting on the day my friend...
@@mhmadgenious every audition has people who don't make the cut
I just now realized that…wow
That shot through the engine bay was actually pretty good, I liked it.
The moment when the temporary wheels look 100x better than the "final" wheels
Have to agree with this. The "Roller" wheels looked so good on it!
Mall crawler wheels vs. racing wheels...
Needs some fat 5 spoke IROC style... the final ones belong on a GTI
Absolutely not bruv
The final wheels actually make it look like a high dollar race car and the temp wheels are more of a street thing and make it look like a continuous project
Cmon, lets be honest now
Alex and Suppy just need their own show at this point.
Producers at Hoonigan, seriously please consider this, even if Suppy and Alex are whatevers, just throw a camera to their faces and have them build cars.
Most DEFINITELY .... Suppy is God 😎🌠
We can clearly see we live in times of netflix when people want several mediocre shows instead of one but good...
i see no lie here. They are the driving force behind the success of most, if not all of these builds....
And please leave Ron at home.
Performed on a “closed” street.
Random cars passing by. Lol
They gotta keep the lawyers happy 😂
@@alfredotovar8984 exactly
The random cars passing by are the ones in trouble. Lol
Filmed in "Mexico"
Alex is a great addition for sure!! He's talented!
Whoever edits these vids needs a serious raise, the memes and cuts are very tasteful and magnificently done , this is why Ione these vids so much
The best part of this build is Suppy and Alex arguing like a married couple! 😂😂😂😂😂
"You guys ready to burn down SEMA?" -Suppy 2021 😂🤣
That shit killd me! 🤣
cant say that i would want that to happen........but im here to watch 😂😂
Best line in the video
17:02 missing a lug nut, definitley SEMA-Ready!
Just about to say that!
Cool to see I’m not the only one who caught that
the body kit looks absolutely amazing. you guys crushed this project. this channel is so good
i love how Alex will fabricate something nice and they'll still bust his balls for it no matter how nice it may be.
Love this build! Get a 3D scan, we need it in Forza horizon 5
This needs boosted
@@RumpleFoarSkin69 it's a super high compression motor they said it would be pointless to do forced induction.
@@RumpleFoarSkin69 It would be way cheaper to just build a boosted big block designed using boost then trying to run this boosted
@@la_plata3588 talking about the comment there bud. And compression doesn’t matter. It’s airflow that matters
@@betrayedpredator8826 the forza comment needs boosted. So it can be towards the top
Dang. That body shop saved the day, can’t believe you guys dropped all that stuff off with such short notice.
Still wanna know where Ron's Lancer went... And Suppys awd Integra actually
Funnily enough 9:40 the Recaros that came in some 3rd gens actually looked nearly just like those, and had the mesh headrests. I still think they look absolutely killer.
Its a really good look.
Old school Recaros ftw.
They are known as Recaro 'Fishnets'. They came factory on quite a lot of cars back in the day.
Personally, I think the silver mesh style wheels that were on the Camaro look WAAAAAY better than the ones that were swapped on.
Definitely agree with that, they made it look like a badass shortcorse car for the street.
I like the wheels that were swapped in
Na the gray ones are where it’s at.
Love that Alex had to wear Chris Forsberg's badge to get into SEMA! This build turned out amazing!
Alex got some talent 💯
I really really miss my 3rd gen now
Same bro :(
You guys did a phenomenal job that Camaro. The workmanship is second to none. You guys should be proud of yourselves.
Always loved 3rd gen's. I've had several over the years. Seriously underated classics.
Can we take a moment to shout out Suppy and Alex for working their asses off in the background 24/7😂🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
My first thought when seeing my father's Dakota was "will it fit a 637" hehehe
This Camaro is a monster
Suppy and Alex are a great addition to the Hoonigan team! These videos actually make working and building fun now I just need some friends like you guys
Dude that body shop is bad ass. Shout out to Ivan and his crew.
100% my favorite build of sema. I was so lucky to be able to see this beauty in person and it was incredible
That's awesome man
Dang, I really liked the roller wheels you had on there. Gave it some 90's IMSA vibes.
My best bud has a 1990 1LE IROC that Lingenfelter has done twice. It had a 383/Super Ram back in 1991. 437/492 bhp/tq. It was such a monster being N/A in those times. John built a 434 with 18* heads (also N/A)that made 627/562(505 whp). My best bud would have loved this Camaro in this video!! Frank died three weeks ago.
This is a Nasty machine!
suppy, alex, and the whole team absolutely crushing the build projects. 🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥🔥
Just here to give Suppy props again! haha more Suppy cuts!! "you have to rebuild the whole thing,,, waaa" hahah
Suppy is the best mechanic in! i love his style
My mom flew with me from Texas to Vegas and we “snuck” into the event and I was so stoked to see this thing at Chevys booth. Dream come true
Really enjoyed this build, it’s been a fine one to watch. Enjoying the new crew working together .
I've always been a fan of 3rd gen camaros. My parents hate them, even though I want to get one for one of my first cars in a few years. This thing is a masterpiece. Keep up the great ideas!
My brother has an 88 iroc and I got a 91 they’re both nice cars. You should definitely get one
The best part of this video is Suppy’s interview through the engine bay.
The Camaro looks amazing! Well done Hoonigan! Congrats! Thanks for sharing!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks guys for creating this car.
Holy shit that sounds amazing with headphones on! Had to rewatch it.
Absolutely stunning build, would be good to see later videos of the car being put through its paces. The only criticism i found was at 17:59 near the front end badge, there appears to be fairly bad swirl marks in the paint!!
The whole group is to be congratulated for the project but Alex...
Just one word: Fantastic
Really great to see you guys this year. You are all so cool.
I want Suppy and Alex to have a detective show where they never find the killer. They're hilarious.
That’s so damn sick. and to get it to that level of done in that time frame. And backed by chevy. Hope to see this in forza soon haha
you guys killin it with al the builds, amazing stuff!
Love chevy and the hoonigans. Glad to see them team up for this awesome build.
It looked way more sick with polished wheels. Still rad
17:59 as a detailer I’m cringing
I literally paused the video at 17:59 and said the exact same thing, and then came down to see if anyone else felt the same. Crazy
not a detailer but even I still cringed, how can a freshly painted car have so many swirls, was it washed with 40 grit?!
not hating on it though what an amazing machine and I dont even like American cars or V8's lol
Haha I agree! Check out 16:24-16:26! They should’ve at least done a 1 step polish, and a quick glaze over to hide anything left for the show.
Haha I love how they are talking about adjustable pliers like they are new. There are some in my grandfather's toolbox that he inherited from his father who used to work on ships in WW2. They look exactly the same bar the yellow.
Love the fitment and ride height of this thing. Actual street fighter. Proper drivable functional build.
Straight up hope the editors are getting lots of smooches on the daillyyyyy…
Can this kit put into production in some capacity. Like that thing turned out amazing and god do I want to build a 3rd gen rn.
I want this kit on my 3rd gen, this thing is killer
Seriously. That rear bumper is amazing. I've been dreaming of finding my 91 Z28 and fixing it up with an LS engine. Where ever it may be thses days
@@derricksavaria8190 for the price of a small house and three left pinkies you can have a rusted out 3rd gen and an ls with a cracked block
@@crimmy838 will you take just the pinkies. I dont have much cast at the moment. I'll even double the amount to 6
I was working at SEMA this year. Kept trying to sneak away from our booth to find Hoonigan but never made it over there. The show is HUGE and we were on the opposite end. So bummed that I missed you guys but I'll make it happen next year. That Camaro looks sick!
My mom made me sell my ‘84 z28 5spd before I went to college in ‘88. I still miss that car. Love you mom.
The mesh in those headrests is for full send mullets waving in the breeze! Hey so SEMA is over why aren’t you racing Cleetus and Toast yet?!
Shoutout to the guy at 15:52 for rocking my shirt! 👊🏼
Man, I'm loving the builds lately. Excellent job
Incredible build and an absolutely gorgeous car. I freaking love it. I would love to see you guys do every generation of Camaro for a series and then race them at the end.
I th I like it better with the "temporary" wheels (edit) the other wheels are great with the livery
The wheels you had on when rolling it into SEMA were way nicer looking (style wise) than those Rotiforms 😅
Very nice build, the outcome is superb. That engine is insane and im glad to see it producing such power naturally. Looks like a hella fun build. I personally could never work with any of those fools but I can sure watch every minute of them working together haha
I love Alex & Suppy, like 100000% they are my favorites.
You guys are living my dream life! This is amazing!
the car and dually looked amazing!
body kit, front and rear fascias look incredible.
Suppy and alex ya’ll are dope suplexing all these builds!!!!!
My day gets 10x better when Hoonigan uploads
First time seeing it in person at sema I love it.
Alex & Suppy are the best duo you've had since Micheal Cox & Vince built the merch van
The grimm and suppy build series is my favorite part of the day
I love the livery, it makes it feel extra widebody. And the wheels are so killer
Glad to see the project torque square body made the video
Great build guys!
Love this series yall chemistry is hilarious 🤣🤣
i cannot wait for an hour-long special with how far the editing has come
came out badass....one of my fav builds of the year
As a 3rd gen owner this is awesome! Also i felt that when he said the headlights were better than stock.
One of my fav gm bodies . Excellent work
This thing is badass! Ngl, i really love the transit wheels
now this is a great bday present, love me a big block, thanks hoonigan!
I'm so excited for this chevy finally be up to some big things
Suppy and Alex need to be on EVERY project from now on.
Amazing work guys you kill it 👍
i dont know how late it was when you drove the car, but you are monsters and i love it
Thank you Vinnie for the gaw dang...... And not the other. 💪💪💪
Sweet swirl marks in the paint !
The thru the engine view 🤣🤣🤣 genius! All mechanics should be interviewed under the car from now on haha
The 'Test' wheels fits really nice than the SEMA show wheels
The fact you just have 1000hp cars just chilling in the workshop is crazy how it's becoming a standard thing
Guys bravo. Look forward to seeing on this vs that!
The body kit on that third-gen is sick. I really dig it.
suppy and alex again killed it big up to daniel and tony kicked it out the park cracking build
Awesome work
Love everything you do
Nice build looking forward to more old school muscle builds
Those old fishnet recaros are so cool
Those Recaro seats are so period correct, the style of them go hard in the paint.
They look a lot like the ones they put in the Recaro Edition Trans Ams. Perfect choice for the car.
Soo much respect to everyone involved. Also...suppy with the ... Hey quiet on set 🤣👌👍
