Just bought one in the exact same spec just without 4matic. Love it
I Paid £11k for my W212 2ltr Avantgarde GGI a year ago, 9 years old 70k miles. Took it to be MOT tested as it’s law in uk to have this certified each year.
Found rear subframe completely rusted through took garage two days to replace cost £3k. Please make sure you have subframes inspected before you buy as after 4 years old MB are not interested in rectifying any defects that transpire due to their poor design. New subframe had improved design so obviously they knew about it.

I’ve just had a SAM chip fail in mine and it cost £1,000.00 at a Merc specialist. WTF 😠 Apparently the chip is located in the front wing and is prone to water ingress! 😳 WTF! Who the hell designed and put a chip in the front wing😠
Also had a corroded brake hose and Mercedes UK wanted over a £1,000.00 ( funny how it’s ALWAYS a £grand + 20% tax) to remove the back axel to fix it!! A Merc specialist charged £240.00 by NOT removing the back axel! So just be warned any owners and my E350 has only covered 36,000 miles ☹️

Beautiful color! I have this same car in Arctic white. I love this car and one of the reasons I bought it was because of it's safety rating (5 stars on Edmunds & excellent reviews) It is heavy (but I like that about it) as it is a well built car, although that doesn't help in the gas milage department lol...but the pros absolutely outweigh the cons for me. I also have 2 teenagers and I feel that this car will be a safe choice if passed down to one of them. If you take good care of this car and do all the necessary maintenance on it, it will go for many, many miles. Originally, this particular sport edition started at approximately $54,000 and up.

I paid 23k i bought the car from coneticut from a old man. The car is mint always garaged its a 2011 fully loaded with 48k miles.

I think you're correct there. That engine was bulletproof...but still sooo slow.... Just like what they say "cheap, fast or reliable, pick two"...
nooo lol not to slow i got my v6 to put out over 300hp ..311 to be exact
ya know K&n filters some exhaust work
e85 mix the right oil even helps.. my 2011 e350 is beast!!! an reliable over fast reliable will win everytime
but if your putting out only 268 hp a few mods will bump that up alot. im at about 311 hp right now.

I don't believe so. These cars are pretty bulletproof...but boring.
Do you think this would be a good first car for a teenager?
It could make a good first car, but the insurance will probably be quite expensive. It may also be a bit too powerful for a first car, but then again its pretty easy to learn/drive.

I'm surprised by that, as this is a V6, I thought it would be fairly powerful. But then again you are used to your awesome C63 S, so a 300+ bhp V6 isn't much in comparison.
