- Unlike Georgia, Florida was on Point and had their Weight Stations open and ready to inspect the drivers coming into the state but at the time when I crossed the Jasper Florida Scale. I saw little to nothing as far as Trucks being inspected

Georgia is a more lenient state on DOT on good parts of the state, because they go for more important stuff like finding drivers violating DOT regulations on back roads, because they catch a lot of people on back roads than major roads. The guilty drivers will find back roads to avoid DOT stops than the ones on major roads not violating any violations. Florida is more strict than Georgia. How do I know? I know many officers with GDOT.
And yes I know that Florida is more Strict then Georgia because I also know DOT officers within the Florida Department of Transportation State Patrol Troopers office in the district where I live at
I never have had a problem with D.O.T. blitz I have never been pulled in. 15 years of driving. We have drive wise I get the bypass.
And I'm Proud of you Sir and thank you for your Service out here and helping paving the way for the younger Generation of Drivers that are coming out here

Why are yall so scared of the D.O.T. ? They are just regular people doing a job ,if you are doing yours you have no reason to be scared
If a guy isn't breaking the law, why does it matter ? not everyone wants to drive down the boring freeway.
