There are so many options

4) soap for the screaming eels
5) soap for those survived the firey swamp
6) soap for marriage because it's what brings us together today
7) soap for after sword fights
8) soap for after wresting matches
9) soap that rhymes... With boat
10) soap for finding true love

There are more. I hope this becomes a theme.
I would love to see a video about ways to recycle soap shavings, leftovers, or soaps that didn't turn out.... it would be fun to think of creative ways to turn them into something useful!
She regularly does soaps where she'll have different sized balls of soap shavings etc from previous batches and add them to a new soap. She also does "confetti soap" where she puts shavings in the soaps. ovob
She uses the soap shaving often for soaps like in her planet themed soaps
I like to put mine in a container with water and blend them into soft soap (suitable for pump containers).
Katie: I'm shocked this is your first Taiwan Swirl, but you rocked it, my friend. Brambleberry makes dividers to fit your large 5 pound log molds. I've used their buttercup mica for years and it always turns that neat burnt orange, but always morphs back to a beautiful yellow. I love it.
May I ask why it's called Taiwan Swirl? I live in Taiwan, so I am curious ahaha

I know this is an old comment, but someone did this recently on CZcams! Search plaid soap. It took a ton of pours and canes and planing layers
If you are going to buy the log splitter go to Workshop Heritage site itself. It is cheaper than Amazon and you also get a wooden mold with silicon liner. I just bought the Pro Soaper Double Width Mold with 14 size Log Splitter. With shipping to Canada it came to $258.67. Thanks Katie, I finally broke down and bought it after watching you use it. Beautiful soap as always, you are so inspirational.

You should scrape off the “wasted” soap and use it if you ever do another solar system with the big plant embeds in it with how man loaves you make it could make it easier to save up scraps for it

When you are piping your frosting, it would look so cool if each piped layer had a different color. We could see so many intricate details.
I think a time lapse of a batch curing would be nice so we can see the colors develop :)

Katie, perhaps you can clean the excess soap off the dividers into another container for dicing or shaving into 'confetti' for future soaps. That way it's not wasted.

I think this swirl technique would look wonderful with flame colors. A bright, sharp red, rich orange, maybe a hint of bright blue.
