Am impressed by the genius of Ayugi and team. However, the journalist should have been well versed in IT- softwares, a good researcher on such systems and the like. For a start she has tried. This is the way to go despite the risks. It is a road less travelled but the journey has to be made

Change is ok but we have 2 questions. 1. Cybersecurity . How secure is this sensitive server 🤔. 2. Passport is form on ID . Those in diaspora find it impossible to create account due to ID (kipande that keeps changing) only access.🤔. This creates doubt on cyber capabilities of the e- citizens 🤔. If simple passport changes can not be transferred smoothly 🤔 what about cyber security threats 🤔. 3. Kenya welcome foreign individuals to rig data 📊 to favor the presidential election outcome, How safe will this centralized system secure data 🤔most advanced countries don’t take such risks of putting all eggs in one basket. Can we find a better system because we are not disciplined and professional enough to handle basic information. Start with passport renewal problems in diaspora. Coming to Kenya to renew or to get changed type of passport/ kipande is a luck capability of IT systems. Kenya is the only embassy that tells its citizens to go to Kenya to handle passport yet immigration has all the files 🤔. This government server is not efficient , not cyber savvy and not perfect for such advanced systems of operations . Keep improving 🇰🇪🇺🇸❤️😘😘

What is the issue. Everything is going digital. Unlesss you want your information in files that get lost, pay bribes for your file to be availed, files packed in storage rooms or warehouses for luck of space. The world is going digital and we need to move with the rest of the world. All advanced countries and many developing countries have all moved digital. So this thing of Kenyans making a big deal is a non issue. Just move with it and get over with it.
