My currently emotional support dolls are Barbie Looks 24, 22, 15 and a little Grey Alien BJD.
Recently Barbie Looks wave 4 dropped and I got 24 amd 22 from that wave and I adore both of them. They have amazing facial screenings and I love the facet that they’re brunettes like myself. Looks 22 has a pixiecut which was solid from gel so I washed the gel out and now she also has nice soft hair, like the other Looks dolls. I really prefer posable dolls with nice quality hair (saran or nylon) and Barbies are smaller than Rainbow High dolls so they’re easier to carry around and put in my bag. I either have Looks 24 or 22 with me and I have been sitting outside with them while enjoying the weather. 22 has been my travel companion a lot because she has short and easy to manage hair and she is petite so she doesn’t occupy much space in my bag. Getting these two Barbie Looks dolls also re-ignited my interest for Looks number 15 again and she has been my emotional support doll for as long as I have her.
Another emotional support doll of mine isn’t of any huge brand but it’s a Little Alien BJD, made by Nothing Sapiens/Tamikan Space. As you can see in my profile picture, I LOVE aliens and I have always wanted a posable Grey Alien doll/figurine and I was SOOOO happy when Nothing Sapiens finally took orders for those again. The BJD was quite expensive but that’s because, unlike Barbie, Bratz, Rainbow High etc. they’re not mass produced and made in small batches, so that justifies the price and I felt good supporting a small business ❤❤❤
I carry the alien a lot around too and the fun thing is, they scale up pretty well with my Barbie and Rainbow High dolls. Since the alien is pretty small, I often take it on safe trips with me and when travelling I put it in the bag it came in which I then put inside a pencil case. I’m very careful with it because it’s an expensive doll (although cheap for BJD standards 😅). I don’t take it outside a lot because it’s sunny and resin is prone to discoloration when exposed to direct sunlight for longer periods of time.

You definitely are not alone! PTSD is so hard to live with, it affects so many parts of a person’s life, not just the trauma. I hope you have had a good day 💕

G1 MH will always have that special place & a vibe that's different. I did not grow up with them, but I can see the love yall have that did. I've grown to appreciate them, they're super cool. But not exactly the best doll to hold...lol. G3 is good for that. 👍

I love G3 Ghoulia so I recently bought a second one. My first one I bought when she first was released. The second one from Target looked soooo different. It kinda looked more like the neon frights mold. I was so disappointed.

Lately the Magic Mixies Pixlings dolls have been going everywhere with me. Specifically Deerly. I just love how small she is so she's easy to take places. Also my creepro Abby! I never got to have any G1 MH dolls so finally getting to have one has made it so she hardly leaves my side.
I have Monster Fest Lagoona coming Friday. Best Lagoona so far, I'm looking forward to her. I haven't bought any of the other G3 of her, except FanSea.

I can't decide between core refresh Cleo or Monster Fest Cleo...they're both so good ! But I don't have a G3 Cleo with bangs yet or her Hisset pet, so probably pick her core.
