Do you have a gallbladder polyp?
If you do, then stick around because in the next few minutes I am going to explain what they are, what they mean, and I will give you two acupressure points that you can use to reduce or eliminate them.
Gallbladder polyps refer to various conditions characterized by protrusions into the gallbladder sac.
Sometimes gallbladder polyps have no symptoms, and other times they are associated with discomfort in the upper right abdomen, nausea, and food intolerances.
Gallbladder polyps are frequently discovered during ultrasound, CT scans, or MRI scans.
These polyps may be genuine growths or pseudo-polyps formed by cholesterol deposits adhering to the gallbladder wall.
Studies suggest that hepatitis and certain genetic traits predispose people to developing gallbladder polyps.
Pseudo or cholesterol polyps may form when there's a high level of cholesterol in the bile.
This causes cholesterol clumps to stick to the gallbladder wall.
It's often a sign that gallstones might develop, and it can also occur alongside gallstones.
Factors like obesity, gender, weight loss, and diabetes, which are usually linked to gallbladder issues, don't seem to increase the chance of developing gallbladder polyps.
The most common type of gallbladder polyps are pseudo or cholesterol polyps, making up 60% to 90% of all cases.
These aren't genuine abnormal growths; instead, they're cholesterol buildups that form as protrusions on the inner surface of the gallbladder wall.
Their presence can signal underlying gallbladder conditions like chronic cholecystitis. Inflammatory polyps, constituting 5% to 10% of cases, are linked with inflammation of the gallbladder, often recurring with inflammation and episodes of pain.
Both pseudo and inflammatory polyps pose minimal risk of developing into something more serious, usually staying under 1 cm in diameter and frequently occurring in multiples.
High-risk gallbladder polyps are rare, but they require gallbladder removal.
I recommend that anyone with a gallbladder polyp consult with their physician to assess the risk of it developing into a serious disease.
In the next few minutes, I will show you how to find and activate two acupressure points that are traditionally used to reduce or eliminate gallbladder polyps in cases where they are not deemed high-risk.
