Philosophical question: do robots sleep or perhaps dream?

Nah, they basically have the "turn off" option for themselves. While our hearts never stop beating when we are asleep, they simply "die" and nothing else happens to then. Until something wakes them up or some kind of alarm lol

Like the commenter above me said, robots and every form of AI we have so far will just stop functioning when their power gets cut off.
The same thing technically happens to us, since we also run on energy, but our bodies make sure to keep our vital organ systems running at least on low power at all times even while we're sleeping. This ensures we're saving/replenishing energy much faster than while awake, and that we don't sleep in so good before christmas morning that we suddenly find ourselves in the afterlife. Because of this, I'm pretty sure our brains coming up with dreams is our alternative to the xbox red ring of death, especially since it makes sense as a way to keep us from getting bored during a 7-8+ hour straight resting period where we're both awake but not really awake at the same time. However, I don't study people while they sleep, so don't quote me on the last part.
We haven't figured out to make robots nearly as complex as us in that area of artificial intelligence yet though, so the time between them being shut off and reactivated later is about the same as a time skip.

Or, is it that they CAN'T be stunned and I'm just looking at LISKARM'S stun indicator...
