Eminem is the equivalent of a ferocious Mike Tyson in his prime. You can feel his hunger and feel his will to show the world that he is no one to be messed with. He is also the perfect example of someone becoming the best they could be at their craft.
OMG he is just letting it all out, every bad feeling, every negative emotion, every insecurity, and he's like a dragon spitting straight F ing fire all over the place. I LOVE this!!!!!!!!
I remember listening to this twenty years ago now, as a South African kid in primary school. After school I would walk to the mall, no money to spend, just passing time. I would go to the music shop and put on headphones attached to those towers that had a bunch of new release cds, to let people listen to an album before they bought it. I was mad about eminem, this being not long after he had first blown up internationally. This song really gripped me, and I still consider this an early masterpiece. It was the raw emotion and the unconventional song structure that got me. Man, what a talented man Marshall Mathers is. God bless him.

The best continuous song with no corus ever. I am always amazed and inspired by this one. I loved the unseemed one thought process he had such as this one, this great one. Rabbit Run...
Three years ago I was sitting at a red light, blasting this shit out of the speakers in my bullshit 2001 Buick Regal. Playing this song off some bootleg CD set I bought from a Dollar General for $3. Sitting there, sweating because my air conditioning didn't work. The old white lady next to me giving me stink eye. Hoping my transmission didn't decide to finally give out once that light turned green. I shed a little tear as the light turned. I hit the gas and the transmission grabbed strong. I pressed the pedal to the floor with confidence as I made my turn, all I could hear was "Rabbit, run." If I had half a chance I thought to myself..... two years later I'm sitting at the same light. The nostalgia is coming on strong, I feel my emotions taking over, I feel tears welling up in my eyes. The light turns green and I release the clutch, my engine screams, the turbo spools, and my exhaust backfires *pop pop pop. I look into my rear view mirror and see two city blocks between me and everyone else behind me. I let the tear go and laugh to myself. Run rabbit, run. This is a true story. Now make it your own. RUN!
This is 1 of those tracks that isn't as mainstream or publicised so much but it's fucking insane, the flow the lyrics and that fact that it's non stop while still being a 3minute track. No chorus, no need. Em on another level.
This is my favorite song. It's Em's most relatable song for my life, I listen to this song specifically every time I have a bad day and it never gets old. I could listen to this very day for a month and still love every second like it was the first time hearing it.
i'll never forget this, and till i collapse, being the first songs i ever heard as a kid that actually gave me an extreme boost of energy. i remember sitting there on the schoolbus with my bullshit ass cd player that would skip every time we hit a bump, and just doing everything i could do to not have it skip. when i got home from school, i had this and till i collapse on repeat. obviously, i couldn't relate to almost any of it given i was only about 10 years old, but (as you can see on my channel) it planted a seed in me to grow into what i am now; a successful rapper and producer. i'm not huge yet, but it pays my bills. without songs like this i probably would've never been where i am, and doing what i do. obviously i've branched off this into other artists (tech n9ne, the jokerr, ra, rittz, wax etc.) but if it wasn't for these songs i would probably still be a scared little boy afraid to stand up for myself and convert my fear, sadness and anger into something positive.
em sounds slightly angry on this particular track. remember when i first heard this, way back. tune is still packing a rather hard punch to the throat to this very day... beautiful.

Y'all gotta chill, Lose Yourself is an all-timer
One of the best written rap songs ever
i'll never forget this, and till i collapse, being the first songs i ever heard as a kid that actually gave me an extreme boost of energy. i remember sitting there on the schoolbus with my bullshit ass cd player that would skip every time we hit a bump, and just doing everything i could do to not have it skip. when i got home from school, i had this and till i collapse on repeat. obviously, i couldn't relate to almost any of it given i was only about 10 years old, but (as you can see on my channel) it planted a seed in me to grow into what i am now; a successful rapper and producer. i'm not huge yet, but it pays my bills. without songs like this i probably would've never been where i am, and doing what i do. obviously i've branched off this into other artists (tech n9ne, the jokerr, ra, rittz, wax etc.) but if it wasn't for these songs i would probably still be a scared little boy afraid to stand up for myself and convert my fear, sadness and anger into something positive.
I'll check your channel
If I like it, my friends will hear about you for sure :D

17 years and counting, constantly gaining more views, absolute legend.
the GOAT
em sounds slightly angry on this particular track. remember when i first heard this, way back. tune is still packing a rather hard punch to the throat to this very day... beautiful.
"Imma make you hate you cause you aint me.."
This makes more sense today than Ever.
"I'm gonna make you hate me cause you ain't me" - the line has been so much motivation for me
