#NEXTPG exam is going to be a single exam for all medical post graduate seats. The first exam is set to be held in March 2022.
Dr. Rohan Khandelwal, is a Breast Cancer Surgeon & Surgery teacher with Marrow.
According to the latest notification, there will be a final professional exam in Jan followed by the NEXT exam in March. Kindly note this!!
Is this for 2017 batch or 2016 sir??
Will the final result constitute marks from both the papers... or the professional will only be a qualifying exam...?

Sir it is not the same thing previously we had choice of writing Neet pg exam and many students want to practice in US OR UK. Now we have no other choice but to write NEXT And get a pg seat. Not everybody wants to work in india. Even if they want to implement this they should have started this with first year students and not midway. 1 year is very less time keeping in mind that we have to cover huge syllabus of final year.
You still have to do your internship, which can only be done after Next 1

Don't go to ward duty.... MBBS is just a license certificate for PG exams... So join some coaching institute... And keep mugging... Then when you get into PG..... Again don't go to the ward... Start mugging for the super specialization exam... Then... After passing which you will certainly do... Go to the ward.. And learn medicine...

Sir, you haven't mentioned about Foreign gradiates. We have min. Of 5 yrs course duration so we mostly end up by May with our 5 yrs course how come we apply for NEXT? Do we have to spend an extra yr for NEXT-1?

Sir I am third year student and I have done Third year subjects thoroughly and Pathology and Pharmacology from Marrow not completed it but will complete it. But sir what to do for First Year Subjects and Microbiology & FMT. Sir don't have much time now to complete them as University exams are approaching and also the College has asked to come for Covid training and Duty. So now what should I do for that Subjects. I am a student studying in foreign country and we are required to do our internship there before we get a certificate.
Now because NEXT is replacing all the exams including FMGE, i want to know what i am supposed to do exactly, do we have to do internship again after coming here?
I am studying the final year now and we are learning all the subjects you mentioned (Internal medicine, Surgery, Ob gyne, Pediatrics, ENT, and optha) and i am having a tough time studying all the subjects.
Please tell me what i can do to score well in this exam, how should i study. Which books should I refer to understand easily, as of now we are referring to international editions ( Harrison's, Nelson's, Schwartz, William's and Probst for ENT)
