Can you think of any other women from the Medieval period who exercised a similar amount of power, whether it was political, religious or social? Let us know!

She and Henry were my 25th Great Grandparents. Watch the great movie "The Lion in Winter" to learn about them.

She is a great cousin of mine. Raymond of Pons is a great grandfather through my Spanish line and hers as well. He died and faught in the crusades. Out of all my royal cousins/relatives she seemed like someone Id like to meet.

I don’t think that’s far enough back as many have said 54th great grandmother or something concerning Eleanor of Aquitaine

Eleanor was clearly an incredible woman. I would have enjoyed meeting her. Isabella the first of Castile who be a good video.

I'd like to see a video on Cleopatra Selene II, because although she is often overshadowed by her more famous mother (Cleopatra VII), she was an important co-ruler of the Roman Client Kingdom of Mauretania and had a very interesting life.

King Tamar of Georgia (yes she was called a king not a queen), because she actually was a king and her husbands were just consorts of kingdom not the kings. Tamar's reign is called Georgia's Golden Age.

I hope you make a series on the History of the Qing Dynasty. They also had a famous monarch, Empress Dowager Cixi, who was one of China's most influential and also its last female ruler.

Her and the Boudicca lady were pretty powerful. I bet the women back then still complained of the patriarchy

They were definitely powerful, especially in those days. But they were still living in a man's world, so I'm sure they had every right to complain about the patriarchy. Thanks for watching!
